Rebirth:The Badass Young Lady

The night evaporated under the bright sunlight as a new day started with the twitter of cheerful birds and the roosters crowed energetically signifying the coming of dawn.

Gu Xiao Yue opened her eyes lazily as she didn't have the thought of getting up for a while. The warm first sunlight of the day pouring over her sleeping figure which made her beautiful figure look like a sleeping beauty.

She grabbed her cell phone and looked at the time. It was 6 am in the morning. She got a notification about receiving a message. She unlocked her cell phone and opened Line messenger.

It was Chang Ming and others greeting good morning in the messages.

Xiao Yue:[Oh, you guys are up early today. How come?]

Feng Jiao:[Xiao Yue came!! Good morning!]

Chang Ming:[Good morning Xiao Yue!]

Zhang Luo:[Good morning, Xiao Yue. I'm still sleepy but these monkeys woke me up together with them.]

Tai Sheng:[ It's good to wake up early once in a while,so don't complain about it and be grateful. Good morning Xiao Yue.]

Xiao Yue:[ Good morning. Did you guys sleepover together last night?]

Chang Ming:[Yeah. We are at Tai Sheng's house. We decided to try out the latest games in his house all night as we weren't sleepy at all. But somehow woke up early even though we stayed up so late.]

Tai Sheng:[ That's because of you crawling on the bed like a c.o.c.kroach in sleep. You even woke me up with your stinky foot on my face. I still haven't given you a beating for that.]

Chang Ming:[E-eh? Did that even happen? Please forgive me, your majesty!! I won't do it again!]

Zhang Luo:[Ugh..I'm still so sleepy but these two brats are making so much noises. Wuu..]

Xiao Yue:[ (chuckling emoji) then take a short nap and ignore those two. There is still time till school opens so get some rest.]

Feng Jiao:[ Yeah, do that. But I also wanna have a sleepover with Gu Xiao Yue (puppy eyes emoji)]

Xiao Yue:[Haha, okay. You can come for a sleepover at my place anytime you want. You are always welcome here, JiaoJiao]

Feng Jiao:[Really? You're the best! I love you, Xiao Yue!!(hugging sticker)]

Zhang Luo:[Oi oi, I'm still here, you know. Don't be so lovey dovey early in the morning while there are still audiences. But, I would also like to come for a sleepover at Xiao Yue's place.(sticking tongue out emoji)]

Feng Jiao:[Get lost you narcissistic pervert! I will beat you up if you even think about it!]

Zhang Luo:[Geez, I was just kidding. Why so serious? And what do you mean narcissistic pervert? Even if I were a pervert, I would be a handsome/dashing pervert. Hmph.(c.o.c.ky face emoji)]

Feng Jiao:[Ugh, this side of yours makes me want to punch your face.]

Gu Xiao Yue smiled at their funny banter as she then kept her cell phone on the dressing table beside her bed and sat up. She stretched her hands and got up from the bed.

She then followed her usual routine and then set off to school together with Feng Jiao.

As usual, they walked around the school play ground and then went to their classes after the bell rang. Gu Xiao Yue sat on her seat after preparing her exam materials. The teacher came inside after 2 minutes. It was a different one today. The teacher was Yu Fei Fei. And today, it was English exam.

Yu Fei Fei gave her best of luck to the students as she distributed the question papers and answer sheets.

Today, she had a special mission that was decided by all the teachers that are in charge of this exam hall. And that was to give a bit more attention towards Gu Xiao Yue and see if she really finishes writing without cheating.

Gu Xiao Yue started writing the answers after looking at the questions for 5 minutes. Her hand and pen dancing around the paper as her English handwriting was as beautiful as her chinese handwriting.

Her chinese writing was like an elegant but full of valour calligraphy while her English writing was scholarly and graceful.

Yu Fei Fei walked to her side after some rounds around the class. She was again mesmerised by her penmanship and couldn't help but keep on staring at her pen running around the white paper.

Gu Xiao Yue felt her presence and knew that she was looking at her paper but she didn't mind as she didn't even stop her hand once and wrote till the end in just 13 minutes.

She was even faster than yesterday. 5 minutes added for her screening through the questions which totalled to 18 minutes.

Yu Fei Fei also realised that she had finished writing so she smiled and said.

"Student Xiao Yue, please check once if you missed something or if some spellings are wrong before submitting your answer sheet."

Gu Xiao Yue knew that Yu Fei Fei was worried about her making any mistakes as she had finished writing in such a short time so she took her words into action as she really did like her kindness. She didn't want to disrespect her.

She finished scrutinising her answers and found no mistakes and then submitted her answer sheet to Yu Fei Fei and went out of the class after getting permission from her.

Yu Fei Fei looked through her paper and couldn't help the happy and appreciative smile from blooming on her delicate face.

The students saw that and had doubt about what she found so amazing to smile like that. Shu Ling Shi had her eyes at Yu Fei Fei since Gu Xiao Yue submitted her papers and when she saw the admiring eyes of Yu Fei Fei towards Gu Xiao Yue, she knew that something wasn't right.

Gu Xiao Yue went to the same place in the garden to sit down and have a bathe in the sunlight. Feng Jiao joined her after a few minutes. Surprisingly, Gu Qin Zhen and Gu Shao Yan also came out of the exam hall after 10 minutes.

"Xiao Yue, how was your exam today? Did you do well? I heard that you also submitted your paper in a short time yesterday. Are you having trouble in your studies? If you are then I can help you anytime so don't worry about anything and come to me for help, okay?"

Gu Shao Yan said that after coming besides them with a hint of worry in his voice.

" Yan, I'm doing well in my exams. Don't worry. I only submitted my papers because I finished writing everything. I didn't leave anything blank so it's okay. If I really found any trouble then I will come to find you for help."

Gu Xiao Yue replied with an assuring smile as she patted the ground beside her as she told the two worried brothers to take a seat. They sat besides her as they then talked about their own exams and then again reminded Gu Xiao Yue to look for them anytime.

The time flew by as the school ended for today. The students poured out of the exams hall in crowds and made the peaceful environment turn noisy and cheerful again.

Shu Ling Shi submitted her papers last and then started a conversation with Yu Fei Fei after all the students were out as she pretended to pack her exam materials.

"Teacher Yu, I saw that Gu Xiao Yue submitted her answer sheets in such a short time till now. Did she even write anything? I'm very much worried about her just leaving her papers blank."

Shu Ling Shi said that as if she was really worried about Gu Xiao Yue. Yu Fei Fei didn't know the enmity between Shu Ling Shi and Gu Xiao Yue so she only thought that she was a friend of Gu Xiao Yue.

" Student Shu, you don't have to worry at all. She is doing fine as she is a hardworking student. You can wait for the results to see the outcome."

Yu Fei Fei said that with a smile as she didn't let out the news about Gu Xiao Yue getting her answers all correct. It was a secret that should be kept from anyone till the results announcement.

" Oh is that so. Thank you teacher Yu. I will take my leave now." Shu Ling Shi said that as she then left the exam hall.

She could clearly see that their was a sense of pride in Yu Fei Fei's eyes when talking about Gu Xiao Yue. She found it very strange so she was sure that it was something related to Gu Xiao Yue's answer sheets.

She must do something before it really turns out as what she thinks it is. Her eyes flashed with malice as her mouth lifted into a sinister sneer.

'Gu Xiao Yue! Let's see if you can still keep your arrogant and prideful look after tomorrow.'
