Reborn As A Fox Beastman With Modern Knowledge

2 days after Ruby moved into the house. Everything became lively. Her curiosity about the appliances in the house has had some interesting reactions from her.

When I opened the fridge, Ruby shivered when the cold misty air touched her skin. Asking why is it so cold.

"The cold helps preserve food making it less likely to rot."

"Wow!"

In the afternoon, I grab some leftover food from the fridge and put it inside the microwave. A soft whirring sound can be heard after I turned on the microwave.

"What's that doing?"

"Heating the leftovers."

"Really!? I didn't see any flames!"

"It's not using flames, Ruby. But it's using..."

I then started explaining the simplified version of how the microwave is using radiation to excite the molecules in the food, heating it up in the process.

"That's so convenient!"

"It is."

Even the simplest thing like the faucet excites her.

"Is this running water!?"

"Uh... yes."

"How did you get the water from!? Did you use magic!"

"No, Ruby."

I Chuckle while answering her. I feel like a father lecturing his daughter about things.

"I used machines to pump water from the lake and some purification methods to make it safe to drink."

After a few more explanations for other appliances. I showed her the generator and computer. The first thing is the generator.

"Down in the bas.e.m.e.nt is where most of the supplies are stored, including the generator."

"A generator? What's that?"

"It's a machine that's powering everything in the house."

"Everything! How does it work!?"

"It uses a fuel called gasoline/diesel to make a process called combustion. The engine used combustion to create mechanical energy and use that mechanical energy to create electricity.

If you want a better and complete explanation of how some of the appliances of the house operates. You can just read some books that I have upstairs."

"Really!?"

"Yes, you can. Let's go upstairs shall we?"

Inside the room that I showed Ruby. Rows of books from multiple genres that I made from [CREATE] are placed on shelves. From technical books with pictures on them to literature and etc.

I also made sure that the details about the aspect of Earth are kept hidden. Like some pictures, places, events, and even the authors are removed in the book (Sorry great minds from Earth) to make sure it doesn't raise suspicion.

There's also a computer at the far end of the room that is connected to the camera system, which monitors parts of the house.

"Wow! These books are amazing, Felix! I can't believe that some of these books have detailed images!"

"You never saw a book with images before?"

"I have but it's only hand-drawn. I haven't seen a book this kind of detail and colors before!"

"I'm glad you like it."

After a few minutes of reading some books, something caught her eyes when she was browsing the shelves.

"What's that?"

She pointed at the idle computer.

"That's a computer."

"What does it do?"

I then grab a book about computers and show Ruby the definition and uses for it. I then showed her the camera system.

"Wait, isn't that Sally in the living room?"

"Yup, she's currently on the couch reading a book."

"This is currently happening!?"

"Yes, this showing everything in real-time."

"I can't believe that I'm seeing someone through this."

While Ruby is curiously tinkering the computer, something is nagging in the back of my mind. Like someone's not with us...

"Ruby, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Where is Sheryl? Your bodyguard."

"Oh, she's now posted in Silfrid as a diplomat."

"A diplomat? I didn't know she can do politics."

"Actually, before she was working as a guard, her father is a renowned politician. Like her father, she's a skilled negotiator."

"Oh, that's why I didn't saw her in the helicopter with you and your mom."

"That's right, it was decided by Mother to post her there before we left."

"If her father was a renowned politician why didn't she work like one instead?"

"I don't really know, she is really quiet so I haven't heard anything about her before the rumors started."

"I guess that's it. So how are you doing with the computer?"

"It's really interesting. I read the book and it explained that it's using numbers like one and zero to operate."

"I'm going to leave you to tinker with the computer. Don't break it!"

I chuckled after saying that.

"I won't!"

I then left the room and head downstairs. As expected Sally is on the couch occupied with her book so I went outside to think of what to do next. Then an idea crossed my mind.

[At The Lake]

"[CREATE]"

On the lake are two PWC (Personal Watercraft), commonly known as a jet ski or wave runner. Unlike other modern boats, this does not have any propellers and rudders to steer. Instead, it uses a jet of water to propel and steer by redirecting the water.

First, let me change into a wetsuit. I also modified my wetsuit to accommodate my tail. After I finished preparing, I sat on the jet ski, turned it on, and wore my life jacket. This will be fun!

I slowly turned the throttle making the jet ski move forward. After a few minutes of making myself comfortable, I quickly throttle it up reaching the speed of 25 km/h to 50 km/h, making a few rapid turns on the lake.

"Woohoo!"

I excitedly yell on my jet ski.

"Felix! I'm done using the computer!"

As Ruby went down the stairs, she expected to hear Felix's reply from downstairs but nothing. She then went to the living room to see Sally reading her book on the couch. So Ruby ask her.

"Hey Sally, do you know where Felix is?"

"I think Foxy went outside."

"Ok, thanks!"

As I was headed to the door, Sally calls out to me.

"Can I go with you?"

"Sure, do you want to look for Felix?"

"Yes, I think he's making something fun again!"

"Making something fun? What do you mean?"

"It means he's making something new!"

I look at Sally, confused.

"Oh, you didn't know huh. For example, what do you think of the house?"

"Uhm... it's amazing."

"Yup, it really is amazing! But have you ever thought who made this?"

"No, but now that you said it, who build this?"

"Foxy made it."

"Felix!? How!?"

"He has a magic power that can create items out of thin air."

Ruby was speechless after hearing that. A few steps later, Ruby and Sally heard water splashing and something humming.

"Is that Foxy?"

Sally told Ruby while pointing at the jet ski that is speeding on the lake.

After a few minutes of having some fun riding the jet ski. I heard someone calling out to me.

"Foxy!"

"Felix!"

Sally and Ruby called out waving at me. I then drove the jet ski back to the shore of the lake.

"What's up?"

"What's this Foxy? It looks fun!"

"This is a jet ski. It's a fun vehicle to ride in a body of water."

"So... did you created this?"

Ruby ask me.

"Yes, I did. I used my ability [CREATE] to make this jet ski."

"I also create an extra one. You want to use it?"

"Isn't this a bit sca..."

"I want to!"

Before Ruby could finish her sentence, Sally cuts her off when she excitedly answer. I chuckle at the enthusiasm of Sally and the hesitation of Ruby.

"Sure Sally, first you should wear a swimsuit."

"Ok! I'm also going to call Lillian and Karla!"

She excitedly ran off to the house, leaving Ruby behind.

"You want to join, Ruby?"

"Uhm... Is it safe?"

"I promise, I'll make sure that you'll be safe."

"O-ok."

"Go back to the house and ask Sally if she has an extra swimsuit that you could use."

"I'll be gone for a few minutes or so."

"Take your time."

A few minutes later Sally, Lillian, Karla, and Ruby came out of the back porch of the house wearing... oh my God, s.e.xy swimsuits! Sally wearing a strapless bikini, Lillian in a skirtini, Karla in a tankini, and last but not the least is Ruby in a maillot.

"Uh..."

What should I say!? I'm left speechless with them wearing that kind of clothes!

"Foxy! How do I look?"

Sally then leans her torso in front of me while doing the peace sign! Cute!

"How about me, Hubby?"

Lillian then points her hip outwards then places her hand on the other side of her h.i.p.s! S.e.xy!

"Felix, how about mine?"

Karla places her arm under her b.o.o.b.s while her other hand is placed on her chin! Refined!

"F-Felix... this is a bit em-embarrassing."

Ruby shyly places her arms between her b.o.o.b.s and the other is covering her legs! Adorable!

"Everyone..."

I inhaled a ragged breath.

"Everyone is so beautiful!"
