Alex opens his eyes slowly from the glaring sunlight flashing on his face. Feeling annoyed he wanted to know who opened the screen on his window. Coincidentally, he found something wiggling inside his mouth.

He licked it, "Salty!" he exclaimed in his half awoken state. It was a toe from Lily's foot.

Suddenly a laughing sound woke them up. James stood there laughing at the funny scene. Lily also woke up and was confused about why her father was smiling at them; she suddenly felt something wet and squishy on her toe.

She turned around to look to find her toe buried inside Alex's mouth, "Ahhhh.....! Big Brother... I'm sorry...!" Lily apologized hurridly. She was so embarrassed that her whole face turned red.

Alex didn't mind; he patted her and told her that it was okay. Lily smiled cutely while her eyes darted towards the bed where a round water mark was present.

She quickly covered up using the bedsheet and acted like sleeping.

Alex already knew she wetted the bed in sleep from the smell, but he still acted like he didn't see that.

Alex then looked at his father and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Nothing! Just checking on my daughter! By the way, I already sent the butler to receive her mother, and she should be on her way now! And I also took care of the Loan shark matter, so there is no need for you to go out. Today we'll be having a special guest, so wear the nicest dress and be prepared." he announced and left.

Alex acknowledged his word and then looked towards Lily and said "Lily, I am going out! Mom will be here soon, okay! Ask the servants for Rock salt and brush your teeth!" he gave her instructions while she still stuck in the blanket.

Alex got up while thinking who's going to visit today. The princess should be visiting tomorrow according to Rose, so it shouldn't be her. He stopped thinking and simply shrugged his shoulders.

Alex found one female servant walking towards the kitchen, he stopped her and gave instructions to take care of Lily and especially the wetted bedsheet.

But to his surprise, a little head was poking out of his room with the wetted bedsheets on her hands. She quickly hid after seeing Alex looking towards her. Alex laughed out loud; he simply found his little sister too adorable.

The servant acknowledged his order with a happy face and went towards his room. Alex left to get freshened up and return to see how's Lily doing in his room.

He was totally surprised, in front of him Lily got a total change over. Her hair had been combed perfectly; she was wearing a beautiful blue dress accentuated with perfectly matching jewelry. She looked like a little princess from the movies on Earth.

She stood with an embarrassed smile on her face. She was too adorable, he lifted her and gave a long kiss on her cheeks.

Alex then heard a knock on his door, "Young Master! City Lord has asked me to guide you to your new courtyard!" butler stood outside with a respectful expression.

"Courtyard?" he replied.

"Yes, Young Master! The courtyard is specially built to accommodate Young Master and Miss Lily! It also has its own private bath and a pond. City Lord said it is a gift from him." Alex might have rejected but knowing Lily was going to accompany him, he accepted.

He thought it was better for Lily and her mother to live privately in a courtyard than in the mansion. He knew the Immortal Old man behind him was the reason for his change in treatment.

He took Lily's hands and followed the butler. While walking, every eye was staring at Lily. There were both curious and awe of the little miss walking with their young master. Lily was naturally shy as she held Alex hands tightly. Alex smiled and took her in his arms.

When they reached the courtyard, it was surrounded by beautiful flowers and other greenery. To his surprise, Pamela was already waiting for them outside the courtyard.

Lily ran towards her mother and jumped to her embrace.

Pamela had a content smile looking at her daughter. It showed how the City Lord and Alex value her daughter. She felt all these years of pains are worth it. She walked towards Alex and gave him a tight hug. Alex also returned the hug with a smile and said, "Welcome home!".

After touring inside the courtyard, they left for the family breakfast in the main dining room. At first, Pamela didn't want to come with him, but Alex forcefully took her hands and walked towards the dining room.

Everyone looked at Lily and Pam with strange eyes. While some knew what happened yesterday, many were oblivious why two strangers are at the dining hall. Especially, the little girl who looked very cute and adorable.

Charles came near Lily and asked, "Hello, I'm Charles, and you are?" Lily didn't reply and hid behind Alex.

A coughing sound came from his behind. James walked towards the dining table with Laura to his side.

James looked at everyone present in the dining hall and said, "I am going to announce an important matter now!" he revealed everyone the status of the little girl present in the dining hall.

Everyone was dumbfounded on the news while some expected this.

The sound of gossiping from his wives irritated his ears as he shouted, "Quiet! That's it from now, she shall be treated equally, or everyone remembers what happened to my first wife, right?" he threatened, so Lily doesn't get treated the same way as Alex got treated in his absence.

The sounds quietened down, soon Rose accompanied them to dinner. After finishing her breakfast, she found something inside her cloth pulsating and giving off different lights. She quickly got up and nodded to James and went outside the mansion.

Alex just like others was confused. Soon they heard the sound of soldiers marching towards the mansion.

Hundreds of Soldiers with Shiny Armour marched inside the gate of the City Lord's Mansion. From the carriage, a beautiful teenage girl wearing pure white clothes walked out with graceful steps. Behind her, a seemingly normal middle-aged man walked out, the attracting thing was the crown on his head fitted with sparkling gems and weird rune symbols attractive to the eyes.

Even a child could see that he was the king. But why is the king here? The doubts popped up in everyone's mind. Unless a war, the King never leaves the capital, but now he came to the remote end of his kingdom.

Alex looked at Rose standing behind the princess. She looked at him with a smile and gave a wink. Alex shook his head and focused his eyes on the King of this Kingdom. He looked normal nothing to say much, while the Princess was a real beauty. She looked like a fairy descended from the heavens but still couldn't compare to the beauty of Mir or Coco.

The princess eyes darted towards everyone and soon land on him. He could see Rose whispering something inside her ears, and soon both of them giggled.
