Rewarding Bad Luck

Gabriel could hear a female voice telling him he has been given a so called 'lottery system'. He looked around and saw his Aden's Father asking a question to the Doctor with a hint of dejection in his voice.

"When will he wake up?"

"It may be a few weeks, months or even years, Gabriel was struck with lightning. He will wake up when his body recovers."

Gabriel was filled with astonishment as he sat right there, staring at the two conversing in front of him. He began to shout.

"Hey, I'm right here! Hey! Why won't you look at me?"

He realised no one was looking at him and this filled Gabriel with sadness but that did not stop his circ.u.mstances from changing, so he continued to shout. His outburst lasted a while and after repeating the same actions for hours he gave up. He looked at the television and saw that they were watching the news.

In an attempt to get out of the bed Gabriel tried to remove the blanket of his bed and his hand went through it, in the midst of his confusion his body began to soar. He looked down and saw his body on the bed, he looked up and saw he was going to hit the ceiling. His melting point has reached a new high peak so he embarked on a mission to get attention by being rowdy.

"Someone help me! I'm floating!"

He began to panick as floating isn't an ability of humans. He couldn't stop panicking and then a voice echoed into his head.

[User, calm down.]

Gabriel began to fl.u.s.ter and shuddered, as no one was able to see him let alone communicate with him. He said with a scared voice.

"Excuse me, can you help me?"

The echo of his voice lingered around the hospital room and a female voice replied.

[Yes, I can.]

Gabriel gasped in astonishment. He pondered what she was, completely forgetting his current predicament.

"Where are you talking from?"

[I am communicating with you from your mind, I am a gift from the Universe created by God and sent to you.]

Gabriel began to catch his breath with an open mouth. After a few stupid questions Gabriel's mind began to spray real questions.

"Why can't people see me, why am I floating, where is God and why do I remember a lottery system being said to me?"

[User is funny, hehe.]

The female voice giggled from Gabriel's predicament.

[The mortals cannot see you because you're in astral projection, that answers two.]

[I was activated when the lightning struck you and you won what you mortals would call a lottery but on a intergalactic scale.

Gabriel's felt a thousand thoughts zoom through his mind, all the changes and possibilities. And the third answer shocked him the most as he was given random integers as a location. He thought to himself, maybe it was a glitch but then again, God doesn't make glitches.

"Why did you give me integers for God's location?"

[God's home cannot be calculated due to spatial laws being outside of my scope, so computation isn't possible.]

She gave a good answer but what is spatial law. Gabriel's mind was like a child's, he tended to get distracted easily and remembering that she spoke of him being the child of God, he spoke with reluctance as if he was going to be disowned once again.

"I-I-I am God's child?"

He started to mumble to himself.

Gabriel forgot to name the system and went straight to thinking of using three of his lottery tickets.

With an excited tone Gabriel didn't want the night to end, so he asked.

"What can I get from the Lottery and how do I go back into my body?"

[The lottery consists of everything within the universe, your eastern books have a shockingly good depiction of life in the universe. Cultivation and magic truly do exist. Religions are also true as Heaven and Hell truly does exist. Your ability of a Lottery System astounded God, that is why you were given God's Child title. The excitement coming from Gabriel made him flabbergasted. Words couldn't describe his feelings, he was beyond ecstatic but he needs to go into his body to for his abilities to activate. He thought of descending and it worked, he floated side to side until he landed onto the hospital bed. His eyes began and he looked at the calender, it's 2018.
