Ron Weasley: A Noble's Ascension

Heading Inside their potions class, the unlikely sight of Ron's newest member garnered everyone's attention. Becoming increasingly accustomed to Ron's entrances the Ravenclaw's weren't all that shocked. That however couldn't be said for the Slytherin's and Prof. Snape who went from confused to livid very quickly. Which stemmed from the Slytherin's agreement as a whole to not interact with Ron. Yet now one of their housemates and promising student's was happily chatting with him. Unfortunately for them the worst was yet to happen, as Theodore and Ron sat down together.

Their seating arrangement wasn't so well received. That was because most students would only interact with those from their own House. That also went towards their partners as they spent more time with them. So seeing a Ravenclaw and Slytherin seated right next to each other was a very rare sight. One which a group of certain people found intolerable, who do the most part were Slytherin's.

" Theodore, what are you doing!?"

Millicent yelled out, as after Draco's departure took a more prominent role in Slytherin House. Although that was more so due to her unwavering belief in Pureblood Supremacy, than leadership skills. Which Ron found irritating and was already planning how to properly deal with the annoyance.

" What, I'm just sitting down. And please don't speak to me, class is starting."

Theodore cooly answered, before turning away from her. She of course wanted to continue but his words were true, class was about to begin. In which case she and her little group looked over to their Head of House, Snape. Regrettably for them, he couldn't force two students who wanted to work with each other apart. So after glaring at the two started the class, which brought a slight smile to Ron's face.

"* Really now, I can't decide whether he likes ne or not. I mean he's always watching ne with such intensity! Hahaha!*"

While he inwardly mocked the potions Professor he was much more composed outwards. Only replying his death glare with a simple nod and a quaint smile. Received quite negatively by the brooding Professor and Millicent's group. The infuriated faces they wore perfectly showcased their suppressed rage. Yet they couldn't do anything, making this class somewhat bearable for Ron.

"* Hmm, I do like that look but I think it'd be a lot better if I didn't have to see them ever again. Well that day is fast approaching, besides I'm a very patient person.*"

After class as Ron, Daphne, Hermione and Theodore were gathering their belongings a few Slytherin's tried to bother them. They did so by "accidentally" bumping into them causing them to drop their things. Sadly both Daphne and Hermione fell victim to their little act of bullying. The two boy's who intended to duplicate the act on Ron and Theodore weren't very successful. The moment one if them "lost" their balance Ron also lost his and his knee "accidentally" struck the boys stomach. Theodore on the other hand simply moved out of the way leading the boy to land flat on his face.

" Argh!"

G.r.o.a.n.e.d Ron's attacker as his knees buckled and he dropped to the floor.

" Oh, I'm sorry. It seems I've tripped. Are you okay? Let ne help you up."

Ron asked, seemingly shocked by what had occurred yet before the boy said a word. Ron roughly raised him up and pulled him in close to whisper to him;

" If any of you ever get close to any of us again you'll end up worse than Draco. Got it?"

In that moment the Slytherin boy was truly scared, he felt like he was being stalked by a ferocious predator. Yet to everyone else the entire scene played out totally differently. They saw two classmates bumping into each other before one helped the other stand up.

" Alright then see you later, take care!"

Ron cheerfully said as he and his companions walked outside. All the while being glared at by the Slytherin's specifically Millicent. Who was extremely furious to the point that she snapped her quill.

"* Just you wait, you damned blood traitor! Unlike that weakling Draco I'm not so easily dealt with, I will find your weakness and get rid of you!*"

Since they were in different House's they're schedules were also different. Meaning that after Potions Class Theodore had to separate from their group. Before he did so however, Ron got the Marauders Map back from the girls and showed him the fastest route to bis following class. Once he did so they went their separate ways

With their Trinity back together Ron took a back seat to the girl's conversations. Which he didn't mind as it allowed him to think about more pressing matters. Specifically those pertaining to his next class, Charms Class with Prof. Flitwick. Who was supposed to train him but after what transpired with Draco he wasn't so sure.

"* I need those lessons. Not having any real experience in Magic Battles would place me in a dangerous situation. One which I'd rather not be in as struggling doesn't go with me, much less loosing. Hopefully I can still salvage this, if I can't... It's going to be a tough year.*"

Thanks to the always handy Marauders Map, their Trinity leisurely walked to their next class.

Arriving to the classroom Ron went directly to Prof. Flitwick's office. After knocking thrice and being allowed in Ron put forth his best face.

" Ah, Ronald what can I help you with? But could it wait, class is about to begin."

Professor Flitwick quickly asked as he tried to organize his belongings.

" Professor, I wanted to properly apologize to you. For what transpired the previous class. I'd also like to thank you for your assistance on the matter that followed."

A bowing Ron stated. Although the short Professor's reply left him clenching his fists.

" Ronald, let's place that incident behind us. For now let's head outside I have to start class."

" Of course, Professor."

Ron raised his head and replied before exiting his office. Standing outside the door he couldn't help but think his plans were falling apart.

"* Damn It! Don't tell me he's already made up his mind and won't train me.*"
