Snow Elf's Path

Chapter 5 - Sovngarde

"Reproduce?" you mean...." Asked Alena in a bit of jealousy topped of with great curiosity. This isn't exactly a topic they expected to hear.

"Yes. We are willing to share a bed with the male Snow Elves." As soon as she uttered out such words, both Arlond's and Alena's eyes were wide in shock while Arlond had a red blush forming above his cheek.

"What the actual hell. Is this a joke?" Alena got suddenly angry, she didn't like this idea at all!

"It is not like we are doing this in the aim of l.u.s.t." She yelled out as she fisted the table near her with her right hand in anger. Last thing she needs is to be looked at as a whore after she actually wants to help these people.

"I am no whore and it isn't my dream to share a bed with you. But we just want to help your race before it faces extinction. If there aren't enough Snow Elves." Giving out a smirk she continued, "We will make them. It is a move that our enemy can never predict. Even if the odds of a nord giving birth to a Snow Elf is half half, it is our best possible option to help you repopulate. There aren't any more Snow Elves in other countries, you and the other 14 might be the last of your kind."

Finally seeing pureish intend in her words, his heart softened and of course he wasn't nearly close to accepting such explicit help. "It is not your responsibility to share a bed with a man you don't love, in aims to undo the despicable deeds you didn't do to begin with. You didn't kill Snow Elves, Ysgramor started this nonsense."

Still trying to convince Arlond with Common Logic but not being able to keep her tone low, Harbinger Alemes started shouting. "It would take decades to find Snow Elves and reproduce. Not to mention the Nords are looking for your kind everywhere. It is not that we would love to do this, but it is because it might be our only choice." Looking at Alena with such a serious face, Alemes continued. "I'm sure that your friend here would agree as well."

Being confident about what he is going to to hear from Alena, he replied under a light tone. "I doubt that she would agree to this. We shall search for another way. Our average lifespan is longer compared to the Nords. So what's the rush. Another way is mandatory."

"Actually..." Whispered Alena as a strong blush arose above her cheeks.

"Actually??" Yelled Harbinger Alemes as she jumped off of her chair.

"Actually?" Asked Arlond with his right eyebrow raised in confusion and his lips curled as if he swallowed a Fly Amanita.

"Well i… I mean you are right but i…." Mumbled Alena trying to say something but apparently it's very hard for her to say. Could it be that she agrees to this plan but is extremely shy to talk about it?

"What are you trying to say Alena? Are you aboard with this? Do you agree with the Harbinger?" Asked Arlond in concern as he looked directly towards her eyes and noticed that her face has become boiling red.

"I do agree with you..." She calmly said as she let out a deep taken in breath.

"Pe" Sighed Arlond in relief. He really doesn't want to share a bed with people who don't love him but yet have such pure hearts.

But when Alena continued her partially started sentence, Arlond went into shock. "That no Woman should share a bed with a Man she doesn't love, i agree to that. But in our case…"

"In our case?"

"What! Are you going to pretend that you don't like me at all?" Asked Alena as her Nordic features on her face turned strawberry red even further. Her face was boiling in shyness so much that you could fry a salmon on it. This time however, Arlond turned red as well but it was less noticeable compared to Alena no doubt(Snow Elf).

Letting out his breath, along with a portion of his shyness to, Arlond found the heart and guts to reply with, "Well you are very intelligent, open minded, open hearted and of course undoubtedly beautiful. Any man would be insane not to fall for you. But…"

"But?"

Sighing in relief, Arlond replied. "Well i ran out of reasons to complain. I do like you. A lot even. I would run through Nordic shot arrows n.a.k.e.d for you. You saved my life after all."

"That's all I needed to hear." Said Alena in a pleased tone and gave out a rather devious tone. Did she perhaps have a stronger fancy for him? Since Arlond was literally right next to her, she was able to "over power" him easier.

It took no effort to reach his lips, knock him off of the chair and falling down along with him. But they both didn't mind this as it seems (except Arlond's neck who faced the fall the most).

"I'll let you two to sort this out on your own." Calmly said Harbinger Alemes when she figured out that they need, "Privacy". "Remember. The funeral starts in an hour."

"Olaf One-Eye. Slayer of Dragons. Rightful ruler of Whiterun. Rightful ruler of Skyrim. We shall let your soul depart to Sovngarde on this night. In Tirdas(Tuesday). In the 16th of the third seed(Mars). On this first Era that heros like you helped to forge. The year 420 shall be remembered in history. It shall be a black day to honour the true High King of skyrim. To honour his death." Yelled out a Akatosh priest in great grief.

"Olaf One-Eye's" body was laying over the SkyForge. Over the same forge used to make unique weapons. Weapons of higher quality which only the SkyForge can offer. The forge was lit on fire to burn what they think is "Olaf One-Eye's" body. Burning the body lets the soul to escape this cruel world and enter Sovngarde, a heaven for "Battle Heros".

At the funeral were over 40 Guards, over 60 civilians, all of the Companions which included a group of 25 and of course the new couple "Arlond and Alena." Using the shade midnight had to offer, with a hood on his head Arlond was able to gaze upon the funeral along with the rest of the people without being exposed. Pleasing his heart because of the stupidity the Nords were showing. Grieving over a body that wasn't even Olaf One-Eye.

But the quiet scene was soon interrupted as someone burst through Whiterun's main gate all the way to the other edge of the Kingdom.

"Fus Ro Dah." He shouted and gained everyone's attention. But the DragonBorn is Arlond so how would this be possible. The man was indeed Olaf One-Eye who somehow survived a deep drop on the hard and sharp rocks. It took him awhile but he ran up to the Skyforge, showing his face and leaving everyone in shock.

"But you're supposed to be dead! We just sent your soul Sovngarde." Yelled one Guard in the background and the rest watched with suspense and shock.

"I'm not dead. But I almost was thanks to that Snow Elf standing among you. All of you are fools. Fools!" Yelled Olaf One-Eye boiling in anger, even resisting the urge to unleash a shout against these fools and blow them above the skyforge and downwards the high drop behind it.

Everyone's attention turned to Arlond right after Olaf finished his sentence. Seeing weapons unsheathed against him, he had no choice but to act fast. Looking at a group of Guards near Olaf One-Eye, Arlond quickly unleashed a Shout.

"Fus Ro Dah!" Throwing the Guards away from the SkyForge, some fell on hard boulders breaking their bones or dying on the spot.

The sky Forge was located practically above a boulder. So to be tossed like a ragdoll from a shout so vicious was no doubt dangerous. The shout touched several Guards, injuring them too much for them to fight back but Olaf escaped it more easily as the shout only touched part of his left arm and made him fall from a 15 foot long drop very close to the SkyForge. He escaped big injuries. He escaped a 300 foot drop without dying. This was merely nothing to him.

"Attack!!!" Yelled one Guard. The rest of the Guards although being terrified from the shout, seemed like they were waiting for that order with the deepest patience and suspense.

Out of a sudden, several men and Women with Shields surrounded Arlond and Alena. Not to harm them, but to protect them.
