Snow Elf's Path

Chapter 6 - 7 foot Nord

Those people were indeed the Companions. They got the Guards in shock when they raised shields to guard a Snow Elf, the enemy instead of raising a Sword against him. How would these people who fancy Ysgramor, do such act? Not waiting around to ask questions, Tens of Swords were struck on the several shields surrounding Arlond and Alena. It was fair to say that they were holding on rather well.

"For the Snow Elves! Attack!" Yelled Harbinger Alemes and those several shield brothers and sisters who surrounded Arlond and Alena, raised their shields upwards and disarmed tens of the Guards as an aftermath, they even managed to toss the opposition on the hard ground as if they were nothing. Are the Guards under trained or the Companions over qualified, it is not certain. But the Companions were leading this dance of Iron.

The victimized Guards were indeed left in shock when they suddenly got disarmed. Feeling overpowered and of course feeling betrayed which hurt a bit worse for a few. The Companions used it to their advantage without wasting a blink.

Only Arlond and those several shield brothers And sisters already disarmed over 15 of the 40 Guards.  There are only 25 Companions and they all are intact for now. None are disarmed or dead yet.

The Guards on the ground get stabbed to death before they manage to arm themselves again and actually harm a Companion. The Akatosh priest pulled out a little embarrassment of a silver dagger and tried to stab one of the Companions. Well. It is fair to say that he didn't succeed. He started flying from the SkyForge to the Companion's training yard which was about a 60 foot drop. He didn't fall all in one piece either and all the Companion received was but a simple scratch on the surface of her skin. Bloody but nothing serious. A breeze compared to the injury the priest received.

"Don't break the shield circle. Do not break!" Yelled Harbinger Alemes in the middle of the battle, they were standing strong, managing to peak at the damage the rest of the Companions are causing towards the Whiterun Guards, and even some townsfolk who decided to be patriots.

Several Guards surrounded one of the well known names of the Companions. There are Companions who receive jobs and pass it down to Companions of lower statuses such as newcomers. Those who have that specific higher status, are called "The Circle". When the job is done, the one in the Circle receives half of the payment and the one who completed the task receives the other half. They are a mercenary group after all.

One of those Companions who is  from the Circle named Seeril was surrounded by several Guards who found it a fair fight. Seeril received a few blows on his shield before his shield was broken in two by a Guard with a Silver Warhammer.

However, the Shield wasn't the only thing that was broken. Unfortunately Seeril's left hand was broken as well because of that last blow. But did that stop him?

No. With his iron Longsword on his right hand he swung with all his might and beheaded two Guards with one swing and shortly after threw the LongSword towards a Guard who was about to attack another Companion from a blind spot.

The LongSword went through the Guards back and broke through the surface of her c.h.e.s.t, preventing the attack, forever. Forcing her to take an eternal rest.

He then went on and tackled three other Guards in front of him, smashed them on the ground, grabbed two of their heads and smashed them against the ground until they passed out. He grabbed and lifted the third tackled Guard with his right hand and tossed him from the Sky Forge to the Companion train yard. How many will fly down the yard until this battle is done?

Worth noting he smashed heads on the dirt with a broken arm. The Companions call him Seeril the Giant. He lives up to his name. He is a 7 foot man who looks like two Nords combined. His arm is wider than over half the waist of a Guard. He is oldish but got a lot of fight left in him. A one of a kind Nord.

But at this moment 2 more Guards want to stab him in the back. They didn't hesitate as they knew what was next if Seeril was to turn around.

A blink before they could attack, the Swords were blocked by Harbinger Alemes who has seemed to have left the circle of shields once she saw Seeril in possible life threatening trouble.

Once blocking the blows, she raised her shield upwards which disarmed one Guard and staggered the other. Not wasting a heartbeat, she used her Daedric(Demonic) axe, cutting off one Guards arm and beheading the other in a blink of an eye with a couple of Swings. The Companions were way too Over qualified compared to these fools. Well at least most of them.

Harbinger Alemes proceeded to use a healing spell called "Minor heal other" on Seeril's hand once she noticed that he was holding it. It wasn't a complex spell but it was enough to heal his broken arm.

After healing his hand, she proceeded to yell a request in the middle of the bloodshed. "Seeril. We need to get the Snow Elf and his Lady out of this God forsaken town. Can you clear the road?"

"Easy." He replied boldly, completely confident in his abilities.

Seeril yelled out an order for 5 of the Companions to follow him. He ran towards the walkway which connected the town to the SkyForge. While on his way he noticed that some newcomers seem to have met their end once facing against a group of several Guards who seem to be taking the Companions one by one. Those Guards are Nords after all.

But one of the Circle seemed to have met his end that way as well. It was very unfortunate.

But the Companions who did manage to survive, also managed to disarm, kill or knock out the rest of the Guards. Amazing isn't it? They won a battle of 25 versus 40!

The SkyForge was clear of Guards with a blood filled aftermath, but some more civilians have made their way up to Dragonsreach, seemingly over 30 of them blocking the way. Preventing the Companions from swiftly escaping, desperately waiting for more Guards to arrive and oppose these seemingly unstoppable Companions.

"Bastards!" yelled out Seeril quickly. He turned to two of the newcomers and grabbed their shields without bothering to ask, the newcomers didn't argue about it either.

After grabbing the Shield, he started yelling out Commands. "You 5! You can handle blows. Follow me. The rest of you, get the Snow Elf and his Woman out of this hellhole."

Olaf One-Eye who seemed to have hit his head once he fell down that 15 foot drop, has finally woken up after all those beheading, bodies flying and screams of terror. He saw Steeril running down towards the Civilians and had the guts to stand in front of him, aiming to look like a hero in front of the Civilians.

"Fus Ro Dah." Olaf Shouted at Steeril, aiming to knock him against the ground. It didn't work! All he managed to do was push Steeril around 3 feet backwards. Steeril managed to get a grip of the ground very easily and started running again with two shields still held up, towards the Civilians.

Some Civilians seeing a 7 foot man, cleared the road right away. Some who were dumb enough to stand their ground, were run over by Steeril. Including Olaf One-Eye, knocking him out again.

Right after the SkyForge's walkway, Steeril and his 5 Companions reached the Kingdom's center and ran towards the stairs which led towards  DragonsReach. They formed a wall of shields right in front of the Stairs, which prevented any Guards from the Skyforge to arrive at the scene, to arrive at Arlond and Alena. But it is not easy to hold off 60 Guards. Not at all!

Feeling an immense urge to yell, and freely doing so. Seeril said, "Get the goddamn Snow Elf out of here already. Move move move!"
