The owner of the tavern creased his eyebrow as a deep frown wrinkled his face further.

"Do you have a problem with me????"

He growled in an intimidating manner as he looks straight at the man staring at him.

The reason why the owner is not usually appearing before was because of his overs.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e personality.

He was a good guy, yes. But he can also be easily offended by trivial matters.

This was all due to his appearance.

His height was almost just half of the normal height of a man. Probably only around, 3 foot tall with slightly disproportionate upper and lower extremities.

He has thick and pouting lips. While his nose was so flat. Even the bridge of his nose was not that obvious as it almost blended on his semi-crumpled face.

His eyes???? Well, it looks like it will bulge at any moment and on top of that, he was crossed eyed!

If you saw what I mean, then I guess you now know why our MC and her cat, Janus were at loss of how they should react first.

But she still has a decorum, and she knew that it was so mean of her if she will do that.

So she tried her best not to show any emotion on her face.

"I---I--I was just....ahhmm... I am-----"

She said in an exaggerated way as she nodded and averted eye contact. She was also trying hard not to stammer.

"Sir Lutin, this guy over here is from our Yuan clan. His parents used to serve us and they entrusted him to us before they passed away.

We wish to send him to Magus Academia, can you help me with it???"

Feeling the pain in his feet, Yuan Tao grimace but it only makes his acting more realistic.

It did not take long for Sir Lutin to believe Yuan Tao's acting.

Sir Lutin said as he beckoned to the man across the table.

"Meet me tomorrow at dawn. Before the sun rises at the east, the ship that can bring you to Magus Academia will set sail. Don't be late, I cannot do anything more for you if you missed the ship. Understood???"

Feeling that everything was good to go now, Yuan Tao also readies himself to leave.

"Where are you going???"

Mu Lingxi stands up in alarm. She was totally confused about how everything was setting itself into place.

"MEOW"

Janus tried to teased Mu Lingxi as he pricked his left ear and make his whiskers move up and down.

"Ohh...well, I was a busy body you know??? So I have to go. Bye!"

Yuan Tao said as he picked his ordinary-looking stick. After saying that, he just waves his want and...

*PUFF*

"Errrrrrr?????"

What is he up to???? He has been very persistent on helping me, but after finding someone else to send me off to Magus Academia he can't wait to run his a.s.s off?!!!"

Mu Lingxi was perplexed to Yuan Tao's true intention all this time.

Yet the empty table turns into a sumptuous feast within a minute.
