Stardom - Logan Williams

It had been a week since the party. Logan was at the rehab centre with Dr.Stones. He could run at low speed now. His progress had stunned her. It had been only 2 weeks since he had started rehab. He could now do some milder exercises. Logan had found this surprising too. When he asked the system, the system had said that it was an inbuilt function of the system to help the host only once at the beginning to regain his health. That was why he was improving at a better speed than others.. He was working hard too along with this. So Dr.Stones misinterpreted his speed of improvement to his hard work which was convenient for Logan.

He had developed a little bit of muscle and was no longer pale. His skin had gained back its l.u.s.tre and looked smooth. His face had gained some muscles. He had gorgeous cheekbones and a very masculine jawline. His height had improved too. He was 5'9 now. In all, he looked really good. He could see where his looks came from. The beauty came from his mum while the masculine glint came from his dad. He had cut his hair which had been long during his coma. His perfect black hair had been the icing on the perfect face of his.

Dr.Stones was absorbed in the inclined push ups Logan was doing. The sweat soaked white t-shirt made him look hot. Beads of sweat were falling from his hair which made it more attractive.This was one good looking guy she thought.

After Logan finished his workout, Dr Stones said to him:"Logan, I am happy with your progress. You have improved at a terrifying speed. Next week we'll focus on on some moderate difficulty. Follow the diet plan to the teeth."

"Roger that Doc.",said Logan with a blinding smile.

Today was the day Logan was going to meet his private tutor. His mom had talked to Bella's principal and asked him to recommend a private tutor. He had sent her a profile of one ,Miss Evelyn Adams. Today was the first day of his tuitions.

In his past life, Logan had sincerely attended public school. He had been good at school. But it had been years and he could only remember parts of it. He knew that once he started studying he would be able to grasp it pretty quickly as he had already studied it in the past life. He just needed a tutor to organise the study for him. He could do the rest with ease.

It was late afternoon when Logan and Helen were waiting in the hall for the tutor. She was supposed to come at 3 in the afternoon. After a while the bell rang. Helen went forward to open the door. Evelyn entered the home of her next employer. She was pretty enough that one would turn to look at her again. She had good features and a black rimmed glasses on her face. That made her look hot. The house had ambience and elegance she had never seen before. She was from a middle class family who had been brilliant since young. She had gotten a scholarship to Stanford university and was pursuing business administration . She was quite a brilliant student in her senior year. A week ago her father's friend who was a principal at a school had explained the situation. She felt pity for the boy who had gone through so much, and she also needed the money from this job. So she accepted the job.

The house felt very warm to her. Peaceful. By the sofa, was standing a good looking boy who looked smilingly at her with his deep green eyes. He said,"Good afternoon Miss Adams. Welcome."

"Good afternoon. You must be Logan."

She extended her hand to him which was grasped delicately by him and released in a few moments.

Helen talked to Evelyn for a while about the specifics and then Evelyn said to Logan,"Shall we begin?"

With a smile Logan said," Sure. Lets go to my room." Evelyn missed a beat at that smile. "Dammit women ,control yourself.", she thought. She had been focused on her studies through her life and had no time for boyfriends. She was from a middle class family and she knew she had to work hard.

"Please call me Evelyn. I am not used to Miss Adams ."

"Okay Evelyn."

They took to the study table in Logan's room.

"I will have to first check how far your basics are, so that I can get an idea how to manage your studies. Your mom has told me that you want to join next year as a senior. You will have to work hard for that."

She took out a paper which she had prepared the previous night and asked him to solve it.

After 2 hrs Logan submitted the paper and Evelyn graded the paper to find that he could solve some of the questions which were done in the junior year. She looked at him with a questioning look. Logan understood her thoughts and said jokingly," I have always been a brilliant student."

Evelyn rolled her eyes at this:"I've pretty much gotten the idea about your level of studies. Your basics are really good. I will make a plan for your studies and lets start tomorrow onwards."

"Thank you Evelyn."

F.u.c.k. There's that smile again. Dammit. Control Evelyn.

Evelyn said goodbye to Helen and left soon after.

"Mum, I want some money. I need to buy some books for reference." Helen had already bought Logan all his school books.

"Sure baby. Your dad and I have made this card especially for.This has five thousand dollars in it. Use it responsibly baby."

She handed him an American Express card.

"I will. Thanks mum", he said gleefully.

Logan went back to his room and ordered himself a set of computer science and programming books.

He had acc.u.mulated 550 Star points over the period of a week of rehab. He needed 450 more for computer science skills. This was going to be his way towards making money.

During last weeks party Ryan had suggested pooling money from their parents but Logan refused him saying," Wouldn't it be fun starting from zero." He didn't want be dependant on his parents. They had already done so much for him.
