The CEO's Rented Wife

While Robin and Lina headed towards Lina's home, the thoughts of the cooked up story of 'being in love with her boss' that she narrated to her family bothered Lina. She knew that it was not going to be a comfortable moment for her. She sat in the seat besides the driver's seat as she remembered her words that had shocked everyone who were present in her house.

'I was with my boss. We were out on a date.. and he did not want the company people to know about this.. My boss and I.. love each other..' remembered Lina.

Meanwhile, at Lina's house..

Three people sat on the sofa as they discussed what Lina had told them. They were Lina's grandmother, her younger sister, Olivia and her brother, Bob. While grandmother looked pale and anxious, Bob and Olivia looked relaxed.

"That girl fooled us. Lina lied to all of us. She always told me that she had busy work schedule. I could never imagine that she was busy dating her boss," sighed grandma as she looked at Bob's face to notice his expression. Bob looked relaxed and carefree, that made grandma speak again. "How can you be so relaxed? Your sister is going out with somebody.. and we don't even know that person," continued Grandma.

"Haha!" Bob laughed at grandma's question. "Grandma, only if you would have kept yourself updated with all the latest magazines and fashion news, you would have known the person that Lina is talking about. He is Mr. Wang, CEO and the biggest shareholder of Wang Fashion House. He is a multi-billionaire and one of the most powerful men on this planet," shared Bob.

Grandma interrupted Bob's words immediately. "So, that explains all. Lina had always been telling me that she wears all those expensive clothes and footwear because the company demanded it. I think that was to impress her boss. Maybe, her boss gifted her all that!" Grandma shared her thoughts with both of them.

"Haha! Grandma, you must be joking. Do you seriously think that Lina can impress Mr. Wang?" giggled Bob as he looked at his grandmother's face. "After Lina told us about her affair with Wang, I searched about her boss in some of the fashion magazines and talked to some of my friends to extract some details regarding Wang. That Wang guy.. is a legend. There is no way that he can fall in love with Lina. She is lying. I am sure that she is hiding something. But, whatever it is, one thing is for sure.. her boss, Wang, cannot fall in love with Lina," laughed Bob.

"I don't understand. Why do you say all this?" asked grandmother.

"Haha! Grandma, Lina is not someone famous. She is not a celebrity. That Wang guy can make any famous celebrity, any famous lady billionaire or any gorgeous model make her fall in love with him. He has thousands of beautiful female models working in his company. Why would he choose Lina out of a gazillion other gorgeous girls? I am sure that Lina lied to us. She made up the story on the spot so as to avoid the situation," laughed Bob. "Once I came to know about Wang, I was relaxed. There is no way that there could be a love story between Lina and Wang," assured Bob.

Olivia laughed too. She was fully convinced. "Haha! That is so right. Even if Lina wanted, she would not be able to make her boss fall in love with her. Everyone knows that she is so clumsy," laughed Olivia.

Grandmother took a deep breath. "My God! Give me some peace from within. How can these two be so relaxed?" remarked grandmother. "I am so worried for Lina. How can you two laugh at this situation?" she asked.

Bob and Olivia laughed again.

"We are laughing at your reaction, grandma. You seriously think that the world's most powerful man can fall in love with Lina? Haha!" Bob laughed again. "Grandma, I am sure that Lina cooked up a story. Please keep some patience. The truth will finally be out," insisted Bob.

"I have noticed Lina in front of other guys. She gets over cautious and does a lot of silly things. She cannot even talk properly to any guy," Olivia fully agreed with her brother.
