The CEO's Rented Wife

John had been very excited about his meeting with Ning, that had been planned in the morning. Not only Ning praised his hard work, but also mentioned about salary increment. John did not want to miss this opportunity and reached Ning's house right on time.

He was surprised to find an over-friendly Ning.

At aunt Ning's mansion..

John and Ning sat in the backside area of the mansion. The backside gave a waterpark-like experience with amazingly elegant designs. The pool had stones, waterfalls, islands, colorful landscaping, and inviting artistic elements.

John and Ning sat on white sofa sets that were placed near the pool as they drank tea.

"John! I've been trying a new cream from many days now. It has worked wonders for my facial skin. I think I should be the one posing for your shoots now. Haha!" laughed Ning.

John was more than happy to be talking to friendly-Ning. "You are right, Mrs. Ning. You certainly look amazing," he praised.

"How stupid of me to have missed this opportunity! Asia's leading most photographer is my friend, and I still could not get a single photograph clicked by him. I need some beautiful photos of me for my home walls," smiled Ning.

"I will do a shoot for you whenever you are free," John smiled as Ning called him her friend.

Aunt Ning knew that John was feeling comfortable now. "Tell me, John. What is happening at the company nowadays? What are your observations regarding Wang?" asked Ning.

"Err.. Mrs. Ning, I can't tell you anything that is happening at the company or with CEO Wang," hesitated John.

"Oh.. John! Don't talk as if anything is hidden from me. A few days back, I talked to a girl about you. She told me everything that is going on between you and Wang. Even when you are working so hard at the company, Wang is not happy with you," Ning provoked John.

"Which girl told you that? Was it Chunhua?" asked John.

Aunt Ning's right eye started twitching uncontrollably. "Why do you have to mention Chunhua? I said 'a girl'. I did not say Chunhua." Aung Ning's expression clearly expressed her hatred for Chunhua.

"I understand why you dislike Chunhua. Infact, I don't like her as well," John began to open up with Ning.

"Tell me John. What are the employees talking about in the company nowadays? Tell me about all the latest gossips." asked Ning as she expected a talk on Wang.

Unfortunately, John did not start Wang's topic. He looked here and there to make sure that no one was there besides him and Ning. "Where is Mr. Jack? Is he not at home?" he asked.

"Nah! He's not at home. He has gone with some friends," replied Ning.

"Errr.. Mrs. Ning, you might not like this. But, the latest gossips at the company are about your husband, Jack. People at the company often talk about his flirty personality. He had been seen flirting with a lot many girls at different places," shared Jack.

 "Nah! He's doing nothing. He is too stupid to flirt with anyone," Ning casually answered John as she took a sip of tea.

"Mrs. Ning, you have to be careful. You might not have noticed him at the beach. He was busy flirting with a blonde who was sunbathing at the beach. I've heard from the company staff that he was trying to get close to Sparklet Johnson as well," Jack shared.

"I told you.. he is a fool. He cannot do anything," said Ning in an over-confident tone.

"Well.. I don't know if he is a fool or not, but all I know is that to cheat a woman like you.. a man needs to be very brave and confident," remarked John.

"I am the one who is responsible for all the luxuries that he is enjoying. If I was not his wife, he could not have done anything for himself all his life. I wear the pants in the family," said Ning proudly.

"Hmm.. he had been seen many a times with other girls," continued John.

"This is because, I allow him to do that. When he is around, I can't even think properly. I let him get lost for a while so that I can plan for my future," Ning spoke with her nose in the air.
