In a luxurious room, a day after the world was enveloped in blinding light, about a dozen men in military uniforms were holding a meeting.

"Captain Stone, read the report of your men for us to hear" ordered a strong-looking man in his fifties.

One of the men stood up in attention while holding a folder in his hands. He opened the folder and read the words written on the report.

"We spotted dead humans rise up and they then started attacking us, so we didn't have a choice. Since our guns were not working anymore, we used our knives to kill them. And we also discovered that the undead's weak point was their heads. They won't die even if you slash their bodies several times, but a stab straight to the brain was enough kill them" he then looked at the strong looking man after reading the report, who motioned for him to sit down.

The other officers looked grave after hearing the report.

"If only we had our weapons, these undeads would be of no threat at all!" said a middle aged man with two stars on his shoulder in anger. The others nodded in agreement.

"Continue leveling up our men! We need to be stronger if we want this country not to fall! Provide more defensive measures to where the senator is staying, he is the highest ranking official that was able to survive." ordered the strong looking man.

"Yes sir!"

Inside a cave, three men were eating while talking with each other.

"This Giant Boar sure tastes good" said Terrius while taking a big bite out of his boar meat. Karl nodded in acknowledgement and Roan just smiled in response.

"So after that blinding light, our world became like gaming world. We can level up by killing monsters and we can also get coins and sometimes items from them" said Karl as he search through necessary items in the Store.

"Tomorrow, we will kill more beasts to boost our levels and also to gather more coins. We must be well equipped and stronger in this kind of world since the Ubec of the past is no more" Roan said. His friends nodded gravely.

The next morning, they boosted their levels by killing dozens of beasts and stopped when it was already late in the afternoon.

"Let's head back to the cave for now" said Roan while sheathing his Shadow Warblade. His friends kept their weapons and followed after him.
