The laser was aimed at Averill's heart, it barely took any moments before it hit the body of Averill.

"HAHAHAHA!" Averill stood there without moving, he was still laughing loudly as his eyes slowly narrowed. He didn't even feel the laser injuring him, but he still lowered his head, but when he gazed down, his face froze, and his laughter abruptly stopped.

When Averill gazed down, he noticed his military outfit had a hole in it from where the laser hit him. Averill's lips first turned into a frown before his lips widened up and he showed a clear expression of anger, any thoughts he had vanished and the only thing that remained was pure anger!

Averill moved his body slightly to the left without thinking, and what passed his body was another laser shot. Averill's eyes narrowed as he slowly gazed around to see what was around him.

He noticed a rather modern city with high buildings with mounted weapons on the walls on one side. And on the other side was a bridge over an ocean that was shining in different colours.

It didn't take long before another laser was shot towards Averill, but this time Averill didn't dodge it, he flickered his hand and slapped the laser with his palm which made it explode.

Averill released his aura slowly. A malicious aura slowly spread in a circle around of Averill, first it was a single meter, but only a second later his aura covered over a kilometre around himself. Yet his aura didn't stop expanding for a single millisecond, it continued to expand, it didn't take long before the entire city was covered in his aura.

The ground was trembling as it caved inwards, the buildings fell apart and many people died at the spot without knowing what happened. Averill's aura crushed their bodies into paste.

Lightning fell from the sky and loud booming thunderous noise sounded out throughout the city.

Averill didn't know how many seconds has passed, but when he got a bit of his conscious back, he noticed he was surrounded by thousands of warriors wielding cold weapons and armour. He sensed something was about to attack him from the sides, he raised his hand towards that direction to grab it.

He felt something slightly heavy hit his hand, he gazed at it and saw it was a hammer releasing sparks of lightning. Averill then raised his gaze towards the direction it came from and saw a large burly man with blonde hair and beard staring at him with a clear expression of anger.

"Who are you! How dare you attack Asgard and kill so many civilians!?" The man asked in a booming voice as sparks appeared to come out of him.

"HAHAHAH!" Averill began laughing again, he could feel it, he would lose his rationality again. Averill began muttering to himself in a loud voice. "Daring to harm the one thing that was on me, the one thing that I could relate to, the one thing that I could perhaps like. YOU DARED TO DESTROY MY CLOTHES!" Towards the end, Averill began yelling as his eyes shined in a red light.

Averill tightened his grip on the hammer and shattered it into dozens of pieces. He then vanished from his spot before appeared in front of the blonde guy, wanting to rip his head off his body.

But the brief moment before Averill's hand would reach his neck, a sword intervened and blocked Averill's hand. Averill saw an old man with an eyepatch looking at him coldly.

"…" The old man began speaking, but Averill couldn't hear him any longer.

The old man was known as the King of Asgard; Odin. And the blonde guy by his side was his side; Thor. Odin had noticed that the unknown man; Averill had already lost his rationality and would attack like a wild beast from now on.

"Thor! Take the remaining warriors and leave Asgard!" Odin had noticed how easily the man broke Thor's hammer; Mjölnir. And right now, Thor without his hammer wasn't strong enough to defeat someone strong as Averill.

Thor was about to say something, but he refrained from doing so. He stood still as he gazed at his own father and the unknown man that was dressed in black and his eyes were redder than blood.

Even Odin himself knew that he couldn't defeat Averill by himself, but he had to stall for enough time for his son, wife and his citizens to escape. Odin noticed that Averill began to attack him with a normal punch, but Odin couldn't react fast enough to block it as it had already neared him.

Odin saw that the punch hit his c.h.e.s.t, he had luckily been wearing an armour, but that thought vanished quickly as he felt his body fly backwards for thousands of meters. His armour shattered like it was glass and he could sense many broken bones and both of his lungs had been pierced by the bones.

"FATHER!" Thor roared loudly as he flied towards Averill to punch his face. Thor managed to punch Averill's face, but Thor's arm broke as he punched him, it felt like he punched a mountain made out of the hardest metal.

Averill slowly turned his face towards Thor who had just punched him. A maniacal smile appeared on Averill's face as he grabbed onto Thor. After grabbing Thor, Averill held onto one of his arms before ripping it off his body.

"Aharg!" Thor roared out in pain, his mind almost shattered due to the pain alone. But Thor didn't have any moment to rest as he saw Averill ripping off his other hand. Thor roared out in pain without any pause, his mind went blank and he could only feel the pain and nothing else.

A woman appeared behind Averill, she had white skin, black hair and wearing a silver armour. She tried to pierce her sword in Averill's back. But the moment the sword touched Averill's body, it shattered into pieces.

Averill slowly turned around, gazing at the woman with a cruel smile.

"SIF run away!" Thor noticed that it was Sif that tried to attack Averill and he couldn't help but to shout even whilst being in unbearable pain.

But before Sif could escape, a hand pierced her stomach. Averill had pierced her armour and stomach within a mere second, he gazed at the agonized expression of the woman who was called Sif by the man.

Averill began controlling his aura to kill both Sif and the man from the inside, he held them side by side, slowly gazing as the light vanished from their eyes. They struggled, but it became less apparent by the second.

It only took a minute before Averill threw their corpses towards the ground. He then began attacking everything around himself. No building was left untouched, no one escaped alive. It only took Averill half an hour before everyone was killed, other than the old man he punched earlier.

The old man; Odin, gazed as the maniac destroy Asgard, killing everyone with his hands. Odin saw the maniac kill his son, his wife, his soldiers, his citizen and destroying his city. Odin had lost all hopes, he could feel his life-force ending without being massively injured.

Odin raised his head and saw the maniac standing in front of him, gazing down at him with a smile filled with joy on his face. Odin knew at once, that the maniac still hadn't recovered his sanity quite yet, it didn't matter if Odin tried to speak or not, as the man wouldn't understand him.

Averill stood in front of the old man, he didn't know why, but he felt happy. He went forward and picked up the old man with his hand, he raised the old man by his neck, slowly squeezing. He could see that the old man was speaking some words, but he couldn't hear him, nor would Averill try to understand him right now.

It didn't take too long before the old man died too. Averill threw his body aside as he slowly looked around at the destroyed city with a crazy smile on his face.

But right at the moment Averill was about to turn around, he felt another aura from deep within the ground. The aura was malicious, but if compared to Averill's aura, it was barely anything. A brighter smile appeared on Averill's face as his eyes narrowed towards the direction he was feeling the aura coming from.
