The reason the System was stalling for time was not only for Laura and Saitama to appear here to fight against Spectre. There was another reason too aside from that, and that was to wake up Jack so he could be prepared to guide Laura and Saitama in the battle against Spectre.

"Laura, move in and kick Spectre in the c.h.e.s.t of the opposite direction of Averill." Jack spoke out in a calm yet excited voice. He saw in the mere next seconds that Averill wanted to attack Spectre, but Laura appeared and kicked Spectre far away.

It didn't stop there from Jack. "System, teleport Saitama near of Averill." And as he said that, Saitama walked through a portal which the System created near Averill.

"I know that this fight is slightly rushed as we should have had more time than this. But, it doesn't matter any longer, this fight is upon us and we shall win! Saitama, rush towards Spectre and stay close to him no matter what!" With the strength Saitama has, Jack's only option is to use that to his advantage, which is to pressure Spectre non-stop.

Saitama moved accordingly to what Jack said, he rushed towards Spectre and began attacking him. Dozens of serious punches and kicks flew towards Spectre within half a second, each of them strong enough to destroy stars.

Jack could see everything fluently without them being too fast for his eyes, and he knew that it was with the help of the System that he could do that. This was merely the first step of the long battle that required to win against Spectre.

"Laura, your goal is to stay hidden and kill any clones of Spectre that appears. Don't let any of them intervene with the battle Saitama is having." Jack had figured the main weakness of Spectre, it was his clones. Each clone of Spectre held an ability which came from the main body, and as long as the clone had it, the main body couldn't use that ability. Usually if one of Spectre's clones died, the ability would return to the main body, but from what Jack could tell, if Averill, Laura or Saitama killed a clone, those abilities wouldn't return to the main body.

"I will do so then." Laura whispered back as she suddenly vanished, she began sprinting faster than the speed of light around Saitama and Spectre.

Sweat could be seen slithering down of Jack's face, yet his eyes were fully focused of the overall battle. He could see that Saitama was being pushed back by Spectre, but Saitama was sticking close to Spectre no matter how many times he was being hit.

When the first clone of Spectre appeared, a huge grin could be seen on his face. Yet that grin slowly cracked mere moments later…

"What did you do!?" Spectre roared out as he glared around to find Laura, if he wasn't able to get back his abilities, then he might close against those mortals... And that was not acceptable…!

But Spectre's farce of seeking out Laura was cut short. A fist appeared in front of his face which sent him flying backwards. Saitama stood there with his arm stretched out and a serious expression on his face. "Oy, your opponent is me, don't look around unless you want to be defeated earlier than planned." Saitama spoke in a calm voice, yet his voice could be heard by Spectre who was over ten kilometres away right now.

Saitama lowered his body slightly and kicked the space under his feet which sent him flying towards Spectre. Saitama twisted his body in a fluid movement where his left leg was raised high up in the air and came down crushing towards the face of Spectre when he finally arrived in front of Spectre.

Spectre was way too angry and annoyed to have been able to fully focus on Saitama's movements, which caused him to get kicked in the face by Saitama. But Spectre wasn't sent flying back this time, he glared at Saitama with hatred.

As Saitama and Spectre began fighting once again neck to neck, Laura had been killing off any clones that appeared near Saitama and Spectre. With the little time that has passed, she had killed of half a dozen clones. Laura was easily able to kill off these clones with her current speed, which meant that Spectre wouldn't be able to get any stronger than now.

In the dimension pocket where Jack was staying in, his eyes kept on roaming around everywhere, to when Laura killed of every single clones, to the every movement of Spectre and Saitama. If Spectre wasn't stupid, he would try to do exactly that. If for example ten clones appeared at once, and nine of them were killed by Laura, then Spectre would gain back one of his abilities. And if Spectre had many clones, that could mean that Spectre could and would slowly gain more powerful.

And just like what Jack had predicted, two clones appeared on the battlefield. Laura's eyes widened slightly, she killed one of the clones really fast, but before she could reach the second clone who was far away, the clone exploded and a small light went flying towards Spectre.

Laura tried to cut the small light which she figured out to be a housing for Spectre's abilities with her dagger. But her dagger couldn't harm the light in the slightest.

A wicked grin appeared on Spectre's face as he gained back one of his many abilities.
