"Sure." I said to Guildmaster Brandon's request. It wasn't like I would be able to take quests if someone here didn't see my Status Card.

I took out my Status Card and passed it over to Brandon. He took it and walked over to a table by the wall that had a Status Card Machine sitting on it. After a moment, he let out a gasp as he read the contents of my Status. Once he had finished reading, he turned to look at me, his hands slightly trembling.

"No wonder Goram was saying you would shake the world eventually. To think you would have a True Unique! This is amazing!" The Guildmaster started getting really excited. "What does this Third Eye of yours do?"

I thought about it for a moment before deciding that telling the Guildmaster would be fine. "My skill, Third Eye, allows me to learn other people's Unique Skills, as long as I see them use it. When I see it, I am immediately able to use it at the same level of skill that they know. The only downside is that if I meet someone else who can use the Unique Skill at a higher level, it doesn't give me the higher level."

The Guildmaster's jaw was hanging open on shock. it took him quite a while to close his gaping mouth. Suddenly, his eyes lit up in excitement. It seems he had an idea.

"I have a Unique Skill. Would you like to try learning it? I would be honored to for you to use your True Unique on my Unique Skill." The Guildmaster said, much to my surprise. Who would have thought that he would be willing to let me learn his Unique Skill?

I nodded in agreement, so Guildmaster Brandon led Bella and me to a private training field that most people weren't allowed to enter.

"Let me explain my Unique Skill before I use it." Brandon started explaining. "This skill is called Niflheim. It is a skill which forcefully lowers everyone's agility and dexterity by a flat amount in a certain area around the user, based on the skill's level and your ice magic level. Now, so that you can see and feel how it works, please stand about ten meters away from me."

I did as instructed and stood at the spot he had pointed at. Before he could start, I got worried and asked, "Will this affect me permanently, or is it only as long as the skill is activated?"

He assured me that it was temporary and before I could say anything else, Guildmaster Brandon activated his Unique Skill Niflheim. Suddenly, it felt like my body had started numbing over and when I tried to move, it took much more effort just to make simple movements. After a few seconds of struggling, the numbness suddenly faded as if it had never been there.

"Take out your Status Card and look at your skills. You might be surprised by what you see." Brandon said with a slight smile.

I immediately took out my Status Card and opened the overlay. Skipping over the stats, I went straight to my skills and was shocked by what I saw. Niflheim had a mastery of ten out of ten!

I looked up at the Guildmaster and suddenly had the realization that he was leagues above me, and not just in height. This was the quality and power of an S rank adventurer! I thanked him profusely for gifting me this ability. It took a while for him to stop me from thanking him repeatedly.

"Now that you have seen it, can you use it on me? I've never known what it feels like, so I am quite curious to see how effective it is on me." The Guildmaster requested of me, much to my surprise.

I agreed to do so, and he prepared himself for a moment before giving me the sign that he was ready.

I activated the skill and immediately noticed it wasn't so simple to use. Niflheim would constantly drain my MP as long as it was activated. From what I could see on the overlay that I had reactivated, it drained about seven MP every second. After calculating, I wouldn't be able to use it after fourty seven seconds of activation. On top of that, I needed to use other magic while fighting, so it would be much less.

"You can deactivate it now." Guildmaster Brandon told me. I Immediately stopped the skill and my MP instantly stopped draining. It would seem I needed to raise my MP if I wanted to use this skill efficiently.

My thoughts were interrupted by Guildmaster Brandon as he said, "I had no idea that simple movements could be so hard to do! If I was still a low level, I probably wouldn't be able to move at all when you activated the skill!"

Guildmaster Brandon gave me an extra warning as he brought us back to the main hall of the guild. "Even though this skill is very useful, you need to be aware that it works on friend and foe. It's an area of effect skill, so there is no way to stop it from targeting friends."

I again thanked him for teaching me, and he finally accepted my gratitude. As he was about to part with us he turned around and said to Bella, "You have a great man here. Keep him safe and out of trouble. I can't wait to see what the two of you accomplish in the future."

Bella smiled as she assured him that she would keep me safe. I really was glad that Bella was with me. I would've definitely had a much harder time if she wasn't with me. We thanked Guildmaster Brandon one more time before we opened the door and returned to the main hall of the guild.
