He then handed the herbs to Dong Xian.

Dong Xian felt like he had won the lottery three times. This meant that he could practice both Heaven's Steps and the Shadowy Images technique to the maximum.

Dong Xian could tell that it was a dagger. As he moved his hand grabbing it in front of him, there was somebody clapping behind him. He turned around, only to see the hooded merchant putting his hands together. Dong Xian asked, "What did you do that for? I have not done anything to you." The hooded merchant replied," You killed my disciple and even absorbed her soul, and yet you still deny any wrongdoing?"

The hooded merchant continued," However, I am impressed by your capabilities. Those reflexes of yours seems to be from the Spirit Stage. Reaching Spirit Stage at such a young age is no easy feat. I would like to invite you to join my Great Demon Clan!" The merchants and people were originally ignoring their conservation. These types of things happened in the Qing market a lot. Still, when they heard the name of Great Demon Clan, they disappeared from the streets. It showed how much power and influence the Great Demon Clan had. Dong Xian did not care and flatly rejected his request. He had seen for himself how the behaviour of the hooded merchant's disciple looked like. This reflected on how the clan worked.
