"This is quite the installation" said Green Lantern.

"Yes, it's amazing. I've never thought that Man has come this far" Agreed Wonder Woman.

"This must have cost a lot" said Superman.

Batman nodded "This was filed under special budgeting"

"But it is a rather useful facility." concluded the Martian Manhunter.

"Plus the kitchen's fully stock" added Flash "So what do you call it?"

"The Watchtower" answered Batman "I feel that the world is getting more dangerous, the threats are piling up. The Invasion showed us that threats are not just in our world but beyond"

"Batman's right and we cannot do it alone, The world needs its heroes more now than ever. If we all work together, I'm sure we can make a real difference." added Superman .

Everyone nodded and Flash spoke first.

"Oh, you mean like a group of Superfriends?"

Superman paused. "Actually I was thinking more of a Justice League. So what do you guys have to say?"

"It's corny but count me in" said Flash with a grin.

"Yeah, It sounds like we can do some good."

said Hawkgirl.

"It might be interesting and would allow us to make further in roads to Man's World," inputted Wonder Woman.

"I have nowhere else to go," said the Martian Manhunter but his impression brightened slightly. "But this will allow me to build a fresh new life. Count me in on this one as well."

Green Lantern remained silent.

"I could use a hand here and there. Times have been tough. Consider me a member."

Batman remained silent.

"So how about it?" asked Superman.

"You know how I feel about leaving Gotham City alone," said Batman as he looked at the other six. "But if you need me, and you will, you know where to find me."

The others grin at the Bats Antic and he could only glare at them for that.

"So first agenda of the League" said Batman as he display holographic videos of events around the world.

"Looks like, Our mystery man was quite busy." said Superman.

The video was a footage from a news agencies around the world. All footage showed of what seems to be a huge ray of lights shining down upon the factories.

"That is...quite a spell work.." said Wonder Woman.

"You know about this Wonder Woman?" ask Batman.

"Oh..call me Diana instead and Yes I do recognize that it's a spell due to the Magical Circle but I'm not really sure on what kind of spellwork that is, I'm not really well verse in Magic." Wonder Woman replied.

"Wait! magic exist?" Ask Flash as he couldn't believe what his hearing.

"Yes, Doctor Fate of the JSA was a practitioner of the art" Replied Wonder Woman.

Batman analyze the footage and said "I was able to inspect one of the place and concluded that it was just a regular sunlight although my scanner did detect a lingering new form of energy around the area and a massive increase of plantation."

"Then it must be some form of light magic though I won't be able to confirm that until I could go back to thymescira." Wonder Woman said.

Batman nodded "You said something about a familiarity ...?"

"Yeah, what did you mean about being impossible?" Ask Flash.

"In World War 1.."

"Wait! you've been alive that long? I thought you only came here on World War 2 with the JSA..." Ask Superman.

Wonder Woman shook her head and replied "No, I was already here in Man's world since World War 1, I fought in it along side few of my friends and one of them is Alexander Maximus, or more commonly called back then as Mad Maximus." Diana explained, Batman then work on the console to search for the name.

Diana continued "He was called Mad Maximus because his been operating behind enemy lines by himself without backup or any assistance from the government destroying key areas that would have stop the advancement of the allied power."

Batman pulled up an old black and white picture of a man with black hair, beard and eyes in a leather armor holding a dagger in his hand.

"Woah! look at that beard, his like a viking of something!" Quip Flash.

"No official records except the one the military issued on him, came to a recruitment post and ask to be drafted into the war. Said Batman.

"Yes, that is him though when we meet he doesn't have those beard anymore." Diana smiled reminiscing the good old times though there was really nothing good in that time because it was war but still she remembered the faces of her friends. "I felt his presence earlier and battle but it couldn't be possibly his because I saw him die, Ares buried him in the bunker along side the entirety of the bombs of the camp and blew them with him." Diana added solemnly.

"Well I guess you're wrong princess, evidence of him being alive can be trace back since world War 2 but the most prominent one is this" Batman then showed a modern picture of another man with the same facial feature except without the Beard.

"Oh quite uncanny" said Martian Manhunter.

"Wait! isn't that!" Said Hawkgirl.

Batman continued "Yes, Alex James Maximus 29 years old, Billionaire Investor and Philanthropist, no apparent relative although he did try to adopt a 14 year old child he found begging in france when he was 17 but was never able to though he did help the child to pursue education and now owns SEC a private company whose the leading expert in aerospace industry, back to the point it seems like your friend was able to live a life and marry as record shows that the man migrated to Canada after the war."

"Wha-what...I have no..Idea..the similarities are so uncanny" Diana was Shock to learn that her old friend was not only able to survive but also marry and have a child.

"Could it be, that the one that Diana felt was this guy?" Flash ask.

Diana nodded slowly "....Possibly"

"Anyway we will get back into it later until I can gather more evidence...and we need to go back there to provide humanitarian assistance also Diana if possible do contact Mr. Maximus" Batman said and the others agreed.
