Alex was half n.a.k.e.d as he look himself in the mirror, he just got done with the intensive physical examination. He stand over 6'3 tall with an impressive sculpted build fit for combat, quite similar to Thor from the MCU although much more define and considering his millennium old age, he still looks like 25.

"Here's the result of your monthly physical examination" said Skye who handed him a bunch of doc.u.ments "tell me again why you do this kind of check ups? because for all I know you can't even get sick anymore." she questioned.

Alex smiled at her and replied "Obviously, I always need to be in Optimal shape so a check up is important"

"Sigh....you do you.."Skye sighed at his weird quirk and look at the runes in his back tracing down his spine. "Wouldn't it be useless testing your strength with this Runes limiting your strength? I mean what's the point?"

"probably but still, it's part of the check up so we can't do anything about it and It still show result when the level cap increase then my overall strength should be increasing...okay let's see here" Alex responded. "hmm...it looks like I gain a massive increase in regeneration power again."

Skye's eye widened when she heard this and she exclaimed "Again!? is that even possible? I mean what did you to gain such broken healing factor? can you even die? did you made a deal with the devil or something!?"

He chuckled "In order, Yes my healing factor can still Improve in speed so as long as there's a single molecule left from me then I can still regenerate, second I don't know although someone with reality warping power could just unborn me or something and lastly no, I'm not some cultist although The devil did summon me one time, his name was Lucifer Morningstar, he open a piano bar in LA and took quite a liking to my wines, he said it taste godly and stung him the right way so he commissioned a quarterly supply of my wine and paid me good money, ever since then me and Lucifer has had a business relationship."

Skye jaw drop to the floor "I-Wha-What!?" she couldn't even say coherent words.

"Oh, it seems like I broke her..." Alex muttered to himself but after a while Skye manage to snap out of it and said "Okay, I won't ask you about the devil again because next thing you'll say a god summoned you..."

Alex gave her the look and she just lose it "Oh...for F.u.c.k sake!! this is making my head hurt." she said as she grab her hair and shouted.

Alex chuckled and said "questioning the meaning of life aside, it seems like my durability has increased once again and I think with this no mortal weapon can harm me now though a powerful enchanted weapon could but my enchanted suit should be sufficient enough to protect me and with the Mk.2 almost finish I would be nigh unstoppable though I do hope I don't need to use that one."

"Are you sure, you're really a magician because if I remember my RPG's right, Magician should be the squishy type" She ask dryly. "I mean what kind of Magician uses a gun and a blade, aren't you supposed to stay back and throw fireball or something at your enemy?"

Alex just shrugged and replied "I mean I could throw a fireball at an enemy but It would have been like using a nuclear weapon to kill one person but beside that fact I am a Magician that specializes in enchantment and yes I could cast a spell like the stereotypical magician to kill someone but it would have been a waste of mana and would produce unnecessary side effect, better use of runes and buff's could achieve the same d.e.s.i.r.ed result without the unnecessary destruction."

Skye pinch the bridge of her nose and then said "F.u.c.k, I need a drink." she then exit the room leaving Alex chuckling.

"One of this days that girl's going to be a drunkard." Alex said "Now let's finish this up....."

"Oh my! such a purified mana!" said a Man in a Magician outfit followed by his 17 year old daughter who seems to have been intoxicated with the area she said "Father, it's so wonderful ...I-I feel like ...I'm very powerful!"

The two were currently in Metropolis where the Magical Circle appeared in which the people have dub "The Light of god". The surrounding was covered by grass, beautiful flowers and even some lush trees.

"What can you tell me about what happen here Giovanni?" Batman ask the currently daze man and daughter.

"The mana in the surrounding area was purified by light magic and it seems like chaotic Magician would have a hard time casting a spell here." Giovanni said regaining his composure as he then turn to Batman "if what you said about a man doing this is true then you have discovered a very powerful Magician, this kind of magic should be impossible to perform now a days since the war in the age of gods have muddled the mana of the Earth and to perform this kind of spell work then that man should be a Magician on par and if not much more powerful than Morgan Le fay or Merlin, you could say the spell use here was a god's work"

Batman frowned at the mention of the god word, he knew they existed due to discovering Diana's race and the teachings of Giovanni but still it irritates him that he still can't file a single contingency plan against this 'gods'. "So, it could be possible that the person who did this is a god?"

Giovanni nods "Yes, but it would be impossible because the gods haven't interfered with the mortal realm since the war ended and according to the books of old, they were bound by the laws of the world though there are loopholes case in point Doctor Fate"

"And what about the effect of the spell here?" Batman ask compiling things in his mind to research for later.

"There's no harm to humans here, though you should expect an increase in healthiness for people spending time here and an increase of the green should be expected here" Giovanni replied as he once look at his daughter who was happily playing with a bunch of squirrels and added "do expect a bunch of light aligned Magician to come to this area because to us this place is akin to a holy ground for pilgrimage, you should ask the government to turn this places into parks or Botanical gardens because of the health benefits."

Batman nodded and replied "Thanks, I'll be sure to consider it."

Giovanni nodded as he then watchover his daughter playing with the little creatures.

Batman look at the duo and then disappeared.
