The Universal Villain

After, everything was officially set up. Danzo and Hiruzen left. Hiruzen hesitated, thinking he should stay behind. However, the ninja set there along with Fugaku himself convinced him to do otherwise. Shen wasn't paying attention but he could have sworn Fugaku gave an entire speech about trust.

And it was only hours after Hiruzen and Danzo left that Shen had his clones finally make their move. Dashing through the tree's dozen's of Shen's clones immediately headed in the directions of the entrances. Splitting into different groups they all ran into the different entrances. One group, in particular, ran directly into a wall of tripwires.

As the trip wires snapped they triggered the paper bombs lining the entrance they had just gone through. In-ground shaking explosions one after another, rocks began to fall from the roof as the explosion's involved the clones. Soon the rocks piled up so much that the entrance and their escape was blocked.

Following that over five Anbu members jumped from their hidden locations. 'They should still be stunned by the explosion and their vision is blocked by the smoke. All we have to do is kill them before they get their barrings.' That was the plan however as the Anbu charged hands shot out of the smoke as if they knew exactly where they were before they had even made a sound.

Before they could turn around they were all grabbed by the throats and with a slight amount of pressure a crack followed and their lives ended. In other places where the group entered things weren't going so well for the ninja who had set traps and ambushes. 'How the hell do they know where we are the moment they enter the room.'

They completely hide their presence but before they can attack or even activate their traps everything is dismantled. The traps are either ineffective or disabled and any ambushing was useless. From the room where both Shen and Fugaku were waiting, the sound of explosions echoing through the cave made for quite an ominous atmosphere.

"I can't believe they're not being slowed down at all. It even sounds like they're moving even faster than in the beginning." Showing signs of worry Fugaku turned to Shen. "These are some of the strongest Anbu and Ninja currently in the village. I can't believe they are being torn apart like this." Hearing Fugaku was referring to him Shen looked as if he had snapped out of a daze and replied.

"That is true. I thought maybe they would put up more of a fight. But it seems as though it will just be us fighting instead." Hearing Shen, Fugaku took his words as a slight sense of humor not understanding the literal meaning behind it. On the other hand, the Uchiha members with their Mangekyou already had their Three Tomoe Sharingan activated.

"They are tearing through us like it's nothing. Our weapons can't penetrate their damn cloaks!" Watching as one of their own was flung into a nearby wall a truth became clear. 'If something isn't done screw the plan will all be wiped out in a matter of minutes.' Coming to a decision he quickly called out to the nearby ninja still fighting and alive.

"All of you gather up. Don't bother reserving Chakra, we have to at least stop one of them." Seeing how futile it was to attack using Taijutsu and low-level Ninjutsu the other ninja nearby nodded. They all retreated a few feet down the wide rocky tunnel. In synchronization, all of them began gathering chakra while weaving hand signs.

"Fire Style!"

The same phrase was repeated over ten times as they all seemed to suck in a large amount of air. "Great Fireball Jutsu!" Finishing in sync as well all of them let out the Chakra and breath they were holding in. In an eruption of fire, a wave of fire was released from their mouths creating a wall of flames.

Each flame seemed to have boosted one another causing it to become so hot that it melted the very tunnel they were in. Watching as their attack engulfed their enemies the ninja all continued to release the Jutsu until each of their Chakra Reserves were empty. When the flames finally dyed down all that was left before them was red hot stone and tons of smoke and leftover fire.

Some of them collapsed right there while others fell to their knees panting. "Did we get them?" One of them asked that question until they heard the sound of heavy footsteps. Soon the figure of one of Shen's clones erupted from the fire but their mask and cloak were burned away. Instead, all that was left was the figure itself coated in a melted black substance.

"What the hell is that?" Not knowing what that was the ninja could only assume this is what Shen's report meant by then not being human. Before the ninja could fully recognize what was happening the black substance began to reform itself perfectly into a humanoid. "Im… Impossible. They cant be killed this was a suicide mission…"

Realizing exactly what they were up against when it was too late the ninja sank into despair before meeting their end like all of the rest. Back at the 'last line of defense.' Shen was watching his prompt go off like fireworks.

[Anbu Black Ops Member Killed…]

[Leaf Ninja Killed…]

It was a repeat of these prompts showing up in his eyes. The XP was even more than when he had killed Shinigami in the Bleach Universe. Finally looking up from the System prompt's Shen heard one last explosion before everything went quiet. "I didn't believe it would be possible for them to get through so many ninjas without being harmed."

Using his Sharingan, Fugaku could see fine no matter how dark it was. Looking at the figures approaching from all the tunnel entrance's Fugaku saw it seemed none of them had suffered any serious damage. "Shen are you ready?" Looking over at Shen Fugaku suddenly noticed something. Shen was gone from right beside him and before he knew it he heard something behind him.

"You guys did a pretty good job gathering all that XP is close to level up." Talking casually, the other Uchiha around looked at him in shock. His arm was firmly pierced through the back of one of their clansmen who looked as if he had died instantly. Blood was splattered on the ground and Shen's arm as he pulled his arm out.

"That should be enough to trigger all of you right?" Looking at the remaining Uchiha members in the room. Shen watched their expressions. Slowly their faces turned from confusion to anger as the ones being guarded unconsciously activated their Mangekyou Sharingan. The following scene caused Fugaku to freeze in place and simply watch.

With zero resistance Shen seemingly teleported to each of the Uchiha who didn't have the Mangekyou and killed them in a single strike. It happened so fast that not a sound could be made. One of them lost their head while the other one simply had half of their torso simply removed. Finishing off the last one Shen rolled his shoulder. "Man I'm out of practice. You guys mind collecting the Mangekyou's for me?"

Hearing Shen speaks to the so-called 'Kariudo' in a chill manner, Fugaku watched as the black substances faded from their head revealing Shen's face on each one. 'Clones there all clones…' Looking at all of them Fugaku looked back at Shen as he began to piece it all together.

"From the stay you… But this shouldn't even be possible. How could we not have noticed they were clones of you." Hearing Fugaku, Shen spoke before turning his head around. "Well for one my Sharingan is a lot stronger than all of yours combined." Turning his head to look at Fugaku he was left in shock when he saw Shen wielding the Mangekyou Sharingan.

It all started to make sense but at the least possible time. 'He never lost any power. Everything that came out of his damn mouth was a lie. He just wanted to gather everyone with the Mangekyou in one place while clearing out the Leaf's strongest ninja at the same time.' Fugaku was left clenching his fist as Shen's clones made short work of their jobs.

The Uchiha tried fighting back but it was pointless. Even with them being cloned even 5% of Shen was enough to kill a Jonin level ninja dozens of times over. Within second's all of the Uchiha had their Mangekyou's politely removed from their sockets before being met with a swift end.

'I have to warn Lord Third.' Shifting his stance just slightly, Fugaku prepared to run but before he could even gather the Chakra to do so he felt someone place his hand on his shoulder. "Oh don't leave now. As the Clan Leader, you should take responsibility." Shen looked over at his clones before opening a portal to his pocket dimension in the ground.

"The eyes should be fine in there until I need them. After you're done you know what to do." Hearing him one of his clones laughed. "You know you don't have to act all mysterious where you are anyway. Besides, not like anyone here is going to say anything." Gesturing to all the corpses on the ground Shen rolled his eyes at himself.

Fugaku on the other hand was both terrified and angry. He knew he couldn't beat Shen after all of his clones could wipe every single Anbu and Leaf Ninja here along with all his clansmen then he stood zero chance. "So what are you going to kill me now?" Speaking while clenching his teeth together. Fugaku felt he already knew the answer.

But to his surprise, Shen let go of his shoulder. "Now why would I do that?" As Shen's clones left one by one eventually the only people left were Fugaku and him. Looking at Shen confused, Fugaku listened as he continued. "Your clan is amazing. Almost everyone born from it is talented and has the potential to unlock the Mangekyou Sharingan. No killing you would only make its situation worse."

Glaring at Shen, Fugaku asked slowly. "Then what do you want? With your speed and strength surely you could assassinate the Third Hokage. And with the Sannin gone the Leaf would be at your mercy." However, in response to his idea, Shen s.u.c.k.e.d his teeth while nodding disappointedly.

"Yes, I could find a way to do everything you mentioned. But I don't care about conquering the Leaf at least not yet. Instead, I'll offer you a reprieve. Go along with everything I tell you and stay quiet about this incident. Let's go with I saved you from the enemy but I couldn't stop the rest and we were overwhelmed."

Hearing Shen, Fugaku understood what he was saying. Either shut up and follow his directions or he would kill him here and in turn the entirety of the Uchiha Clan. "What do you want from us in return?" Looking down at Fugaku Shen raised his head as he walked around the empty room. "Your allegiance and if you give it to me I can promise the Uchiha clan will prosper when I finally take action."

Stopping for a moment Shen quickly raised his hand and glanced in a direction. Before Fugaku knew what had happened a beam of light shot out of Shen's hand toward's the wall. "Ugh…" Falling to the ground as his body became uncamouflaged with the wall Shen had to guess it was a member of Danzo's ROOT.

Pointing the ROOT ninja on the ground, Shen turned to Fugaku. "If I want to stay in this village without raising any suspicion from Danzo and Hiruzen at least for the next few years then I need you to vouch for everything I say. Without a hint of discretion." Firing a beam into the ROOT ninja's head, Fugaku shuttered from the sight.

"Of course that does mean I'm going to have to add some reassurance towards your loyalty. Just as a safety precaution you understand right?" Staring at Shen as if he was a demon Fugaku wanted to turn away and run but his legs were frozen.

'Why does someone like this exist…'
