The Universal Villain

"If I remember correctly, there should have been a forest in this area, but now." Saying that, Shunsui proceeded looked around the desolate crater. In all directions, it was a barren wasteland with the occasional holes created from the falling debris and a little further the walls of dirt. "I used to come here to relax, but now I can barely recognize it."

With that being said, he turned his attention back to Shen, who still hadn't spoken till now. "If I knew that, I would have been more careful." Shrugging his shoulders as if he was guilty, Shen acted calm in front of Shunsui. But he was also thinking about what to do in this situation.

Shunsui may seem lazy in person. However, he was personally trained by the Yamamoto and even became the future Head Captain of the Gotei 13 after Yamamoto's death. On top of that, behind that lax look, Shen had to guess he didn't plan to let him leave. All in all, he was dangerous and wasn't to be taken lightly.

Chuckling slightly, Shunsui's smile disappeared. "Now I think I already know the answer to this question, but I'll ask you anyway. Are you going to surrender peacefully or not?" Shunsui would usually avoid initiating a fight, but he saw Soi Fon's condition when he arrived, and he knew he couldn't let Shen walk away scot-free.

Hearing Shunsui's question Shen was surprised he would bother mentioning surrender at this point. "Since you already know the answer, I won't bother telling you myself." With that being said, Shen had already begun formulating a plan of escape. 'Once I get out of here It would be best if I went straight for Rukia. If they get any more time to prepare, it will just become more troublesome.'

"Well, that's a shame." Shunsui placed sighed to himself, placing both hands on his two Zanpakuto. Just as he was about to draw them, he paused. Looking behind him, he smirked. "Glad you've decided to join us." Appearing to the right of Shunsui Byakuya wearing his full captain garments appeared with his hand already placed on his Zanpakuto.

Standing there, Byakuya didn't reply to Shunsui and only looked as Shen. "I already gave you a warning. It seems you didn't heed it." Hearing Byakuya speaks familiarly to Shen Shunsui lowered his hat slightly. "So, I was right. He's the person you met in the human world, although I have to admit I'm surprised he's here. Honestly, I didn't completely believe what you said in the reports, after all, someone without an ounce spiritual pressure seems impossible."

'Byakuya's here as well? This situation is just getting worse. I let myself get too carried away against Soi Fon.' Standing there, Shen took a step forward in that moment both Byakuya and Shunsui immediately drew their Zanpakuto. Seeing this, Shen could tell they were both on guard against him.

On the surface, other than his clothes being a mess and his mask being broken in a few places, there was nothing that physically indicated he was hurt, so it made sense. While they were talking, Shen was trying his best to gather Ki just in case he did have to fight again. He would at least be able to hold them off for a bit.

Holding out his hand toward both Byakuya and Shunsui used flash step disappearing and appearing further away. "Come." As if gesturing someone, he waved his hand, causing something to shoot from the ground and rush towards him. It moved extremely fast so fast it seemed it was going to crash into Shen.

However, the moment it came in a specific range of Shen, it immediately stopped allowing both Byakuya and Shunsui to get a better look. "What is that?" Shunsui frowned, looking at the object that zoomed past them. Hovering there, the crimson ball slowly became more transparent, eventually allowing them to see what was inside. "Wait for a second... Isn't that."

Inside the sphere was Renji's Zabimaru, which was still in its base form. Shen had made it go deep underground during the fight with Soi Fon to avoid it from being damaged in the ruckus. "I'll be taking this with me hope you don't mind." Byakuya, who was far to the right of Shen spoke. "Now, I understand."

Although Byakuya saved Renji still hadn't woken up, and even Byakuya didn't know why. "So, you're the one who stole it." Hearing Byakuya Shen guessed they must have noticed Renji's Zanpakuto being missing. "Oh, I forgot to ask how Renji is doing, you know I felt horrible leaving him on the ground like that."

Ignoring Shen Byakuya spoke softly to himself. "Hado Number 33 Sokatsui." Byakuya's movements were frozen however in the next moment, and he disappeared appearing behind Shen. Placing his palm on Shen's back, a beam of concentrated Reiatsu shot forward, flying straight into the walls of the crater they were standing in, causing an explosion of dirt and Reiatsu scattering.

"You were too fast for me to track before Byakuya." Fl.i.c.k.i.n.g his finger, he sent the sphere containing Zambimaru flying in another direction. Byakuya's eyes widened as Shen, who was in front of him, had disappeared. "But compared to Soi Fon, you're too slow." Opening his arms wide, Shen created two massive balls of Ki, each big enough to swallow Byakuya hole. Closing his arms, he slammed the two balls of Ki together with Byakuya in the middle.

"Dam!" Shunsui, who was in the distance, cursed. "Flower Wind Rage and Flower God Roar, Heavenly Wind Rage and Heavenly Demon Sneer." Crossing his two blades together, his Zanpakuto transformed into there Shikai state, revealing two black scimitars.

Meanwhile, Shen began to feel resistance, trying to crush Byakuya. As this resistance began to increase, the two balls of Ki started to separate, allowing the person in the middle to become visible again. On each side of his body to screen like shields were blocking Shen's assault. "Bakudo Number 81 Donku!"

Taking Shen's attention, Shunsui rushed towards Shen attacking from behind. "Bushogoma!" Using the edges of his Zanpakuto, Shunsui swung his Zanpakuto in opposite directions, creating a giant whirlwind that was sent flying towards Shen. As it flew, it cut through the ground smoothing out the landscape as it approached closer to Shen. "Dam." Shen turned his head around to observe the incoming attack.

The two balls of Ki quickly disappeared as if being absorbed into Shen, creating a crimson sphere surrounding himself. Observing the situation, Shunsui, who was still far behind Shen, yelled to Byakuya. "Get out of there!" Byakuya, who immediately deactivated Donku, began to back away as Shen released the built-up energy. "HA!"

A wave of energy covered the area destroying everything around Shen and causing both Shunsui and Byakuya to cover their eyes from the shockwaves being generated. As the attack ended, the Shockwaves clashed with Shunsui's Bushogoma cancelling one another out.

As the light dissipated, only a small patch of ground was left under Shen as he created another crater. 'I don't have enough Ki to continue using attacks like that. Keeping his senses honed on both Byakuya infront of him and Shunsui behind him, Shen felt another person suddenly enter the area from above.

Looking up, both Byakuya and Shunsui followed suit as maniacal laughter could be heard coming closer. "AHAHHAHAAHAHAHA!" Like a bullet, the person from the sky crashed into the ground, causing the ground to shake.

As the ground settled, the sound of gingles could be heard as someone moved out of the cloud of smoke. "So your the one who has been causing all the trouble lately, huh?"
