The Universal Villain

A strong gust of wind erupted forth, clearing all the smoke surrounding the person who had made their way out of the ditch in the ground. Standing there with a grin on his face, Kenpachi pointed his blade at Shen. "I had a lot of fun when you spread those toys all around the place. When I saw the fireworks, I thought I might as well join in."

Looking over at Kenpachi, Byakuya spoke. "Your assistance wasn't needed here. I can deal with him myself." Kenpachi's grin lowered slightly as he put his Zanpakuto on his shoulder.

"Well, I don't remember asking you. From what I can tell, you two together still haven't been able to touch him." Hearing the two of then, Shunsui interrupted. "Alright, alright, you two can settle your scores later right now we have work to do.

"Whatever, just don't get in my way." Saying that Kenpachi looked at Shen with a sinister smile as his Reiatsu began to build, causing his body to glow yellow. "Let's get this party started, shall we!" Wasting no time, he rushed towards Shen while laughing. Seeing Kenpachi rushing, Shen Shunsui shook his head.

As Kenpachi drew closer, Shen didn't move. Instead, he decided to coat his arm in Haki. He waited until Kenpachi was right on top of him. With his Zanpakuto already raised in the air, Kenpachi swung downwards with an insane amount of force. "HYAAA AHAHAHA" While Kenpachi looked like he was having the time of his life, Shen raised his right arm at an angle that intercepted Kenpachi's slash.

The moment it hit Shen's arm, even with the intercepting angle Shen ended up bending in on himself a little as his body sunk into the ground from the force. Bending his arm more, the Zanpakuto began to slide grinding on Shen's are until it eventually missed him altogether, hitting the ground next to him, causing a wave of rock to fly into the air.

After Kenpachi's Zanpakuto missed its target, Shen jumped in the air before delivering a kick to the side of Kenpachi's face. Sliding back, Kenpachi's back was arched as if he was falling over however, he didn't fall even when he came to a stop. "Hehe, not bad."

Looking at Kenpachi, Shen looked at his Haki coated arm only to see blood dripping down his elbow. 'Even with Haki, it still did this much?' Shen looked up at Kenpachi with a more serious look on his face. "Let's keep it up!" Rushing towards Shen again, Kenpachi swung from the right this time. 'I should avoid blocking his strikes.'

Ducking under the attack, Shen countered jabbing his elbow into Kenpachi in the stomach. However, instead of backing away from the pain, Kenpachi only smiled, slamming his Zanpakuto down on Shen. 'No affect?' Seeing his attack did nothing to Kenpachi, Shen quickly backed away, dodging the tip of the blade by an inch.

Behind him in the sky, Byakuya was already waiting for Shen. Rushing downwards at him, Shen grabbed Byakuya's Zanpakuto with his hand, causing him to slide back slightly as his hand trembled. As they stood in a stalemate, Shen felt a sharp pain suddenly pierce his leg. "Kageoni."

Looking down, he saw a blade that looked identical to Shunsui's going through his leg from his shadow. As the blade melted back into the shadows, Shen jumped into the air letting go of Byakuya's Zanpakuto. Once he got to a certain height, he looked down at the ground only to see Kenpachi was gone.

'Damit without Ki to sense my surroundings. It's getting harder to keep up.' Quickly turning around, Shen swung his arm, blocking Kenpachi's Zanpakuto and pushing it to the side only to feel someone grab his head.

"A person who only relies on there Zanpakuto is limiting themselves." Grabbing Shen's head, Kenpachi threw Shen straight downwards, causing shockwaves to appear as he plummeted. On the ground, Byakuya looked up, watching Shen fall to the ground. "Scatter Senbonzakura." Holding his blade in front of him, it began to disappear, turning into thousands of cherry blossoms.

Seeing the attack below, Shen tried to stop himself using what Ki he had left. 'I won't stop quick enough.' Thinking that Shen plummeted straight into Senbonzakura being engulfed by the cherry blossoms as they began to circle him in the air.

As the Byakuya continued to assault Shen, who has trapped a stream of crimson light could be seen poking through the wall of cherry blossoms. "Ka!" A sound echoed through the crater as the light peering through the cherry blossoms intensified. "What?" Looking at the light piercing his Senbonzakura, Byakuya tried to increase the intensity of his attack."

"ME HA ME HA!" A crimson beam shot out of the bottom of the cherry blossoms aimed right for Byakuya. Quickly Byakuya recalled Senbonzakura creating a shield in front of him, causing the beam to disperse. Left in the air drained, Shen fell to the ground. 'That was the last of my Ki.' Seeing Byakuya managed to block his Kamehameha Shen wasn't surprised.

Giving Shen no time to rest, Shunsui rushed behind him, attacking with no warning. However, instead of piercing Shen, the attack instead went straight through Shen as the after image disappeared. 'They're not going to give me a chance to escape, are they.'

Looking at Shunsui piercing his after image Shen sighed to himself before feeling a sharp pain in his leg. Shen looked back only to see more blood pouring out of the wound on his leg. 'I need to get out of here quickly.' Using little gestures with his hand, Shen slowly raised the orb containing Renji's Zanpakuto and had it secretly fly off out of the crater.

"Bushogoma!" Seeing Shen's after image disappears, it didn't take long for Shunsui to find the real Shen and quickly launched two whirlwinds straight at Shen. Byakuya, who was a little way's behind Shunsui, also attacked Shen with Senbonzakura. In response to the two, there attacks Shen backed up quite far before punching the ground in front of him with all his strength.

In response to Shen's punch, the ground began to crack as the earth in front of him began to rise, creating a large wall in front of Shen. Seeing Shen's response, Byakuya spoke. "You think such a simple trick could stop Senbonzakura."As two attacks continued forward, they utterly decimated the ground cutting it like it was not even there.

As they continued to fly forward, they cut all the rocks in their way, sending them flying into the air until they reached Shen. However, instead of Shen being the target after the stones were destroyed, he had disappeared. 'Who says the same trick doesn't work twice.' Remembering that time, he used a similar move on Hiyori.

Jumping upwards with the rocks blocking their sight of him, Shen releasing a barrack of kicks and punches on all the flying debris sending hurdling towards the two captains like bullets. Seeing the incoming projectiles, Byakuya proceeded to guard himself using Senbonzakura as Shunsui cut the rocks and boulders.

Launching all the rocks at the two of them, Shen began looking for Kenpachi. "Nice trick." Looking to his right, Kenpachi was standing on top of an elevated piece of earth from Shen's earlier move. Shen took the initiative kicking a massive boulder towards Kenpachi, who proceeded to cut it in half.

Looking at Shen, who suddenly began to disappear into thin air right before Kenpachi's eyes. "Huh?" Looking around, Kenpachi couldn't find Shen anywhere in front of him before he heard Shen's taunt. "Every single time." Standing on the boulder that had been split in half behind Kenpachi, Shen used it as a launchpad jumping straight towards Kenpachi.

Turning around, Kenpachi was too late to dodge the knee that went to the back of his skull. The attack stunned Kenpachi, and Shen landed on the ground in front of him. As the valley of rocks, he sent flying towards Shunsui, and Byakuya ended a large pile of shredded stones that could be seen behind them.

Looking straight ahead, they saw Shen knocking Kenpachi into the air before joining him by jumping in the air. Turning around, Shen kicked Kenpachi in his stomach, clenching his teeth from the pain his leg was in the sent Kenpachi flying across the crater breaking through tons of already shattered rocks.
