The Universal Villain

Landing back down on the ground, Shen was out of breath, looking towards the direction he kicked Kenpachi. Looking towards Shen, both Byakuya and Shunsui waited for a moment before using flash step racing across the crater towards Shen.

"Kageoni." Looking at Shunsui, Shen was surprised and immediately tried to jump in the air to avoid Shunsui's attack. As soon he saw Shunsui stab his Zanpakuto into his shadow, Shen knew what Shunsui was trying to do. "Bakudo Number 61 Rikujou Koro" Hearing Byakuya behind him, Shen could barely turn his head before it was too late.

Six flat beams of light to stab into Shen paralyzing him. 'Damn, I wasn't paying attention.' As Shen turned his head, a black blade came out of his shadow, piercing his c.h.e.s.t. Going straight through Shen's body Shunsui proceeded to pull back his Zanpakuto. Looking at Shen as stood there, paralyzed.

Just a few seconds after being stabbed, Shen coughed up blood. Shen tried to recover himself as he saw a pillar of the yellow light rise in the distance, accompanied by maniacal laughter. Struggling Shen attempted to break out of Byakuya's Bakudo to no avail as a shadow appeared in front of Shen. At that moment, Shen could only brace himself.

Kenpachi, who had taken off his eye patch, stood in front of Shen. And in the next instant, swung his Zanpakuto in an upwards motion. All of this happened within a few seconds as a long wave of yellow Reiatsu covered the entire area in front of Kenpachi, engulfing Shen breaking the Bakudo binding Shen in an instant. With three captains attacking him all at once, Shen was being overwhelmed.

After a few seconds, the wave of Reiatsu could be seen disappearing. Waiting a moment longer, Shen burst out of the Reiatsu, holding his c.h.e.s.t in shock. Sliding back, Shen was on his knees. A large gash made its way across his c.h.e.s.t as he looked down at his bloody hand that touched his c.h.e.s.t. With no time to put up Haki as a defense, his b.a.r.e body was up against the force of Kenpachi.

"Your main traits are your speed and strength that much is obvious. Your ability to use none Reiatsu based energy along with the ability to harden your skin to the point Zanpakuto cant cut you are impressive, but it looks like you didn't come out of Soi Fon's battle unscathed."

Hearing Shunsui, both Kenpachi and Byakuya looked at him. "After arriving, I couldn't help but wonder how even after fighting Soi Fon you didn't have any serious injury's on your body while Soi Fon, on the other hand, was left in the state she's in now." Smiling Shunsui continued.

"But now it makes sense. You had plenty of opportunities to use that special ability of yours. However, you didn't. Instead, you used the orb containing Renji's Zanpakuto. If my guess it right, that can only mean one thing. You cant use that power right now, can you?"

"Eh, so that's it? What a waste of time, I even took off my eye patch." Kenpachi looked at Shen, annoyed, and continued. "And here I thought I would get a fight where I could enjoy myself." Saying that Kenpachi leaned his Zanpakuto on his shoulder. Shunsui ignored Kenpachi and looked in the distance.

"Well kid I have to admit you put up quite a fight, but you underestimated us you should have ran while you had the chance instead of sticking around. I'll take Captain Soi Fon to the Medical Barracks Byakuya can you handle him?"

Looking at Shen, who still on the ground, Shunsui looked at Byakuya, nodded in response as he sheathed his Senbonzakura. While they were talking amongst one another, they suddenly heard a crack as if something was breaking coming straight from Shen's already broken mask.

As the cracking sound continued, it drew everyone's attention. Finally, after another moment, the broken mask covering Shen's face shattered entirely. As the pieces of the mask fell to the ground, Shen's face was still not visible due to him looking at his hand. "Hehehe..." A light chuckle could be heard coming from Shen as that chuckle burst into laughter.

"You know, at first, I was planning to fight you three until I had a chance to escape. But now it looks as though things have changed." Suddenly the area around Shen seemed to warp as the landscape was encased within a crimson film. "What's going on?" Shunsui asked as crimson sparks started to surround Shen in its entirety.

Sensing the difference in Shen's demeanor, both Shunsui and Byakuya were on guard once again, not knowing what was coming. "Have you seen this before?" Shunsui looked over at Byakuya, who seemed to be more on edge than even himself. "I'll take that as a no." Seeing Byakuya on guard, Shunsui prepared himself as well.

Kenpachi, on the other hand, looked shocked at first, which soon turned to excitement. "Maybe I didn't take off my eye patch for no reason, after all." Lowering his Zanpakuto, he stared at Shen was silent.

Struggling to stand up, Shen wobbled too his feet, standing before the captains. Shen extended his arm to the side, looking as if he was grasping something out of thin air. "Now, I have a different plan in mind. I didn't want to use this due to it not being ready. And, to be honest with you, even now, I can't control it properly. But screw it at this point I dont care."

As Shen spoke, the clouds in the sky began to move faster as something started to materialize in his hand with a wave of pressure following it. The crater began to rumble as rocks began to rise into the air as if there was no gravity holding them down.

"After doing all this to me, you better be sure Ill pay each one you back. You three should be happy after all." Raising his head to look at the captains standing in front of him, Shen had a strange smile on his face. As his eyes turned crimson red, and three tomoe rotated outwards.
