The Universal Villain

As if it was a reenactment of their battle with Shen, a red light could be seen piercing into the sky as it clashed against the Gate of the Seireitei. The Gate didn't break right away, holding steady however the Ki Shen was letting flow from the Halbert was like a river and didn't stop instead of the power only continued to grow.

Fleeing away from the Gate some Soul Reapers couldn't help but turn their heads as they ran looking back at the Gate. And it was at that moment they saw something they never thought they would see before. The Gate began to chip as a small bundle of cracks appeared in its centre.

Seeing the Gate still holding Shen pulled back his Halbert, but instead of holding it with one hand, he placed both hands on its handle holding it to his side. As his previous attack continued to push against the Gate even with its connection to the Halbert cut Shen prepped himself as the density of Ki radiating from him increased. "Shatter..."

Swinging once again at full force a horizontal slash of Ki shot out combining with Shen's earlier attack creating a cross-like shape against the Gate. From the other side of the Gate, the only thing that could be seen as the bundle of cracks on the Gates surface begin to expand rapidly as rays of light pierced through shining on the Soul Reapers on the other side.

And as if it was a final cry, the Gate made a loud cracking sound as the cracks covered the Gate as it exploded. Chunks of rocks flew across the Seiretei landing in different areas destroying buildings and even crushing Soul Reapers who couldn't move out the way in time.

However, even after the Gate was destroyed, Shen's attack didn't stop there as it no longer had anything in its way. Moving past the perimeter of the Seiretei the now cross-shaped Ki attack ripped through the ground of the Seiretei as moved. Seeing the attack had no plan on stopping at the Gate, the captains who had moved out of the way thanks to Shunsui's warning saw Captain Yamamoto hadn't moved from the spot he was standing.

"Head Captain." Standing on top of a building out of the path of Shen's attack, Sajin saw Yamamoto standing in the way of raging cross of Ki. "Insolent." As Yamamoto's cloak shuttered from the force being emitted, Yamamoto's cane began to fall apart, revealing a sheathed Zanpakuto. Grabbing the Zanpakuto's hilt with one hand and the sheath with the other.

"Reduce all creation to ash..." Yamamoto's fire like Reiatsu began to surround his body as he pulled his Zanpkuto from its sheath the blade itself was coated in a fiery inferno. "Ryujin Jakka!" As Yamamoto entirely removed Ryujin Jakka from its sheat a gleam could be seen in his eye he raised hit Zanpakuto.

Waving it downwards a pillar of pure fire that seemed to be able to melt anything erupted in front of Yamamoto. Piercing through the ground of the Seireitei the pillar of flames blocked Shen's attack as they clashed. The amount of power being thrown around caused completely destroyed the surrounding area clearing the walls and buildings surrounding the location the Gate used to be.

As the two attacks continued to fight against one another Shen's offence began to lose power, the flames from Ryujin Jakka continued to grow. After another minute Shen's attack disappeared completely which was shortly followed by Yamamoto resealing Ryujin Jakka. It didn't take long for the captains to return to the area appearing in front of Yamamoto one by one.

Each captain standing there already had their Zanpakuto's drawn as the smoke blocking their vision to the large opening where the Gate used to stand to clear out as the sound of footsteps became more apparent. "It felt as though I just left. This place really has grown on me."

As Shen's figure came into the view of the captains, so did the army behind him, causing all the Soul Reapers besides the captains to tense up. Letting his voice echo through the Seireitei Shen didn't bother addressing the clash he had with Yamamoto. "I brought a few friends along I hope you don't mind."

Although Shen's voice was directed at anyone, in particular, his gaze was clearly locked on Yamamoto who only stood there silently. "You should have stayed in hiding." Looking at Shen, Byakuya had his usual look on his face as he placed his Zanpakuto in front of his c.h.e.s.t. Shen could quickly tell Byakuya planned to use his Shikai.

"Hold on Byakuya I was so kind as to bring you a gift don't be rude now." Saying that Shen took a step to the side revealing Rukia who was standing behind him. Seeing Rukia Byakuya froze as his eyes met Rukia's cold gaze. "Rukia..."

Back in the Human World Uryu and Ichigo had their hands full. "No matter what we throw at him, he keeps blocking it with that sword." A rain of blue Reiatsu arrows could be seen flying threw the air with their target being the creature Shen left behind. Reacting to the incoming attack, the creature waved the sword in its hands, causing Uryu's offence to be cancelled out.

"And its too fast we can't even catch it off guard." Landing on the ground next to Ichigo Uryu spoke. "So do you have any bright ideas?" Looking at Uryu Ichigo smirked. "Well, its an idea but it's not very bright." Hearing Ichigo Uryu couldn't help but sigh as he listened to Ichigo explain the plan. "You really think something like that would work?"

Replying Ichigo said. "Only one way to find out." After that, the two of them looked at one another with a nod as Uryu disappeared appearing behind the creature and began to charge one powerful arrow. As Uryu charged his bow Ichigo who started to rush at the monster straight ahead began to channel Reaitsu into Zangetsu.

Thanks to Shen changing the timeline not only have the two of them trained harder than before, but they were in almost perfect sync. As if reading one another's mind, they both released their attacks at the same time. "Getsuga Tenshou!" The arrow Uryu fired from his bow was extremely fast and powerful, breaking the windows of the buildings it passed.

As Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshou ripped through the earth like a wave of Reiatsu, the creature didn't know which attack block was causing a moment of confusion. It was that moment that the two of them were looking for and recovering from its momentary disorder the creature used its arm to block Uryu's attack and raised its sword to block Ichigo's.

In only a matter of seconds, the two attacks hit there target, causing an explosion of Reiatsu to travel into the sky. The creature's arm used to block Uryu's attack was utterly destroyed as the sword completely blocked Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshou. After blocking the two of their attacks, the creature immediately began searching for Ichigo and Uryu only to find they had moved.

Without having the time to react, a figure burst through the smoke from above the creature. Holding his Zanpakuto upwards, Ichigo came down on top of the creature cutting off the arm holding the sword that blocked Getsuga Tenshou. Using their attacks as cover Ichigo managed to get the jump on the creature cutting off its primary of defence.

As its arm fell to the ground along with the abyss like sword it was holding not far in the distance Uryu could be seen standing on a roof above the creature. The moment Ichigo cleared the area Uryu released a barrage of arrows on the entire region of the street causing it to shatter as chunks of it were flung into the air. Appearing besides Uryu Ichigo's eyes didn't leave the ground below them as he asked Uryu. "Did we get him?"

Uryu didn't respond with an answer only looking shocked as he said. "I'm still surprised such a simple plan worked." Jumping off the building roof, the two of them were cautious as they got closer to the area the creature was initially standing. "Be careful it could still be mobile." Uryu reminded Ichigo as his eyes darted around, trying to find any hints of movement.

"Uryu watch out!" Suddenly Uryu heard a cry as something pierced through the air at an insane speed.
