Duke Gaston said, with a heavy frown on his face, though he decided to join Lady Melissa's rebellion against the Crown Prince, he felt guilty.

He was going to be betraying the very same people that gave him such status and power.

The very same people his family had been serving for ages, from the very first Mieth.

"That's great to hear. Would you like me to prepare a contract? Or would you rather for us to do a seal binding?"

Lady Melissa had finally confirmed that Duke Gaston would be on her side, so she didn't have to worry anymore. She just had to prepare herself for the rebellion against the Crown Prince.

"I'd much rather for us to do the seal binding as if anyone gets ahold of the contract, word about this will spread, and everyone will know."

Duke Gaston answered. After all, there were fewer chances of the truth getting leaked if they used a seal binding.

He trusted Lady Melissa , and he didn't know to what extent he could trust her.

So he decided to use the method with fewer consequences and fewer chances of word leaking about the rebellion.

"Alright, I have no problems with us using the seal binding. Would you like for us to do the seal binding now?"

Lady Melissa questioned; she didn't have a problem at all if they had done the seal binding now nor later, though she didn't have any experience with seal binding before, so their attempt at seal binding might fail a couple of times.

"Let's do the seal binding later. I have other matters to discuss with you first. Only then can we do the seal binding."

"Questions? What questions do you want to ask me about?"

"Just some questions about the rebellion against the Crown Prince and some questions about my sister."

"Oh, okay then, go ahead."

"First question, am I the only person who's going to be a part of your rebellion against the Crown Prince?"

"No, there's two more people that I'll introduce to you later, and later on, maybe amid our rebellion, more and more people will be willing to join, but for now, there are only three people, not including me."

"May I know who the two people are?"

"I'll introduce you to them later, but for now, I won't tell you."

"Alright then, how do you know about my sister?"

"I can't tell you about that, but I can guarantee you I'll be able to find your sister."

"How can you guarantee me? What if you don't find her?"

"Well, the seal binding will solve that problem, so you don't need to worry about it."

"I confronted my parents about my sister, and they told me the truth. Did you know about my sister through my parents?"

"I, once again, cannot tell you about that."

"How long is it going to take for you to take down the Crown Prince?"

"I can't give you the specific date or time, but it will be at around a year when it's almost been a year that's when we'll go and directly show our rebellion."

" Why do you want to take down the Crown Prince? How will this benefit you in any way?"

"One word, revenge. I'm taking revenge for others who the Crown Prince has wronged; if all royal family members have been killed or murdered, the throne will go to the second founding family, specifically the Shayla family."

"Last question, why did you choose me to help you? No, more specifically, why did you approach me and believed that I would agree with your rebellion and join forces with you?"

"Honestly, it was a gamble. I had a backup plan if you couldn't help me or didn't want to help me. I knew about your sister, so I decided to use that to my advantage, putting you in a corner and forcing you to join me."

Duke Gaston showed a little smile to Lady Melissa Mendy Shayla.

Lady Melissa repeated the chant in her head over and over again.

Lady Melissa exclaimed.

"Let me recheck one last time, though."
