"So you can use it once per ten years?" Kaname asked.

"Yes, it puts a lot of strain on my eyes" Shisui replied sitting on a sofa in her house.

"So each decade you can put a person under almost undetectable subtle genjutsu, no, it's more like Kotoamatsukami changes someone's memories and experiences. Interesting" she scratched her chin.

"Can you help me Kaname-san? As you deduced by now, I can't exactly train my powers with so long recharge time"

"I see, you can't use it for trivial situations, but it's not a power that is useful in combat either. You were right, it can do a lot of good or bring destruction. I believe you should put yourself under my and my brother's training regime"

"Which is?"

"Keep your Sharingan active for as long as possible. It helps to widen your chakra paths leading to your eyes, giving you more time before your eyesight deteriorates"

"Ah, I completely forgot about that part. Thanks, Kaname-san"

"Hmm, what else… when you are alone, try to get accustomed to the power surge when your Mangekyō Sharingan activates. Ah! You should also train yourself in the use of Susanoo, don't overwork yourself Shisui-kun, don't make the same mistakes I did"

"So, would you like to talk with somebody about what happened at your mission?" she asked calmly.

"*Sigh* I let my teammates get seized and die before my eyes, and that's it"

"I'm sorry Shisui-kun, you know that I'm researching on the means to retain our sight? Do you know that there is a correlation between our individual powers and the situation we found ourselves in?"

"What do you mean Kaname-san?"

"Don't spread it around, one of my powers allows me to put a genjutsu into reality with the use of an immaterial butterfly. Did you know how I acquired my Mangekyō Sharingan?"

"You never told me, but I assume it was done when the Nine-Tails attacked the village"

"That's right, I stood above the two bodies of my very close friends, I believed that it's just an illusion, that they will stand back up, it did not take much time I acknowledged that I was standing in front of two soulless corpses. After some research, I found another clue, did you know what a butterfly symbolizes?"

"Endurance? Change? Hope?"

"In times of the Warring States, it symbolized resurrection and soul Shisui-kun. Our powers are the mirror of what we want the most at the moment of attaining the second form of the Sharingan. I wanted to return my loved ones back to life, to change the reality. Now, what the Kotoamatsukami say about you?"

"You said that your teammates were abducted right? So, did you talk with your opponent, did you try to change his mind about killing them? Unfortunately, you found yourself in a hostage situation. I'm sorry it ended as it did, but in truth, I'm proud of you Shisui-kun"

"There aren't many ninjas who would negotiate with an enemy, most would likely go for the kill. It's refreshing to see someone acting with a brain instead of a brawl"

"*Sigh*... Thanks, and how do you deal with the nightmares? I still see their faces every time I lie down in bed."

"That is something I can't help you with Shisui-kun, I doubt there is a way for those to stay away. Especially for me, as I'm living in their house"

"EH?! You were talking about Yondaime-sama and his wife?! It was his house wasn't it?"

"Heh, not bad Shisui-kun. Let's give you another test, Naru-chan! Come here!" Kaname smirked his way and shouted after the little blonde.

"Wait... If it's Yondaime-sama's house, and the little brat was born at the night of the attack and has the fox sealed in him…"

"What's going on ~dattebayo?"

"Hehe, sit here Naru-chan" Kaname stood up from the armchair,

"That's impossible, how could no one notice the resemblance?!" Shisui shouted after Kaname put a Minato's portrait above Naruto's head.

"The Shinobi Council knows, only the younger generation and civilians are kept in the dark Shisui-kun. It's triple S rank secret, just so you know."

"So can I go now, Sis?"

Kaname patted the blonde fluffy bush on top of his head, looking at perplexed Shisui.

"Hi Naruto-kun, remember me?"

"Yeah, ehmm... Suisui, from the same clan as my Sis, right?"

"*Guh* Close enough, Naruto-kun do you know who your father was?"

"Fourth Hokage ~dattebayo?"

"Damnit! Last question Naruto-kun, from what I know you are avoided by most children, why you did not try to tell them that you're Fourth's son, you could get more friends that way?"

"Sis told me it's a secret I can't tell anybody outside my home. Oops! Should I tell Suisui that ~dattebayo?"

"Hahaha, don't worry Suisui won't tell anybody" Kaname laughed out loud.

"*Sigh* I'm sorry for the civilian population, Fourth was their hero, in his memory, they hamstring his son… Who was his mother?"

"Another hero of the village, I will let you try to uncover the truth yourself" Kaname explained.

"I have got a request Kaname-san. When you and Hokage-sama decide to uncover the truth to the population, let me know beforehand, I would love to see the faces of Konoha's population"

"Hehe, time permitting I will send you an engraved invitation." Kaname joked, "We plan to unravel it when Naru-chan attains his chūnin vest, Konoha's enemies would love to hunt down the son of Yondaime"

"Really? With you at his side? Yeah, I doubt that. Okay, I must go, thanks for your help Kaname-san"

"Sure, I must go to meet Jiji as soon as possible either way. See you soon Suisui" she parted with him at the front doors.

"... You won't give me a break with this, whatever, bye Kaname-san" Shisui disappeared in a flicker.

Letting her clones teach Naruto basic math, Kaname left towards the Hokage's Mountain. Entering silently through the window, she sneaked behind the old man.

Breathing slowly in, she jumped up behind him shouting, "What are you doing Jiji?"

"GAH!" the old man jumped from fright in his chair, the small red book flew out of his palm hitting the ceiling, "For gods sake Kana-chan! Do you want to give me a heart attack?! Wait! No!" he shouted seeing Kaname hand going for the smut.

"Hee~ I see you have more time than you are always speaking off Jiji, let's see..." Kaname opened the story on a random page and read from the top, "- touched her flushed n.a.k.e.d body with a cube of ice, tenderly moving it across her spine. He slowly directed his second hand downwards towards her sacred garden-"

"Stop!" Hokage shouted out interrupting Kaname, to the audible grumble of a hidden Anbu Guard, "Do you want to add something Inu?" the old man asked visibly irritated.

"No Hokage-sama, I was just appreciating the good storytelling" Kakashi's voice replied.

"*Sigh* And you Cat, why did you not stop someone from sneaking right behind me?"

"Hmm? Sorry Hokage-sama, Kana-chan gave me a signal to stay silent when she entered"

"So Jiji, what decision did Asuma-kun take? I saw you were talking before the funeral" Kaname gave the Icha-Icha book back to him, changing the topic of discussion.

"Ah, so it is you again I have to thank for?"

"Meh, I just threatened to tell him off on Kurenai-chan, all according to the plan, hehe"

"Not exactly, but we came to terms. He joined the new Twelve Guardians, I thought it would be useful to have a spy in there" he stated.

"Yeah, I believe in the former squad, but the new additions screamed at me that they are the bad apples"

"At least we have 6 of the old guardians, with Asuma-kun, Daimyo, as a bad leader as he is, should be adequately protected."

"Jiji, how did your private conversation with Daimyo went? What about Danzo?"

"*Sigh* Would you believe that he ordered me to reinstate my old teammate as my advisor?"

"Heh, yeah I imagine that went well?"

"I had to talk very slowly for him to understand, I'm still not sure if my words reached Daimyo, when I submitted the proofs, he only said that he will talk with his advisors about the topic"

"So… Daimyo went back to Danzo to ask if he betrayed him? Wow, that's… somehow amazing"

"That's not all Kana-chan, exactly fifteen minutes ago I received an official letter with Daimyo's seal, requesting my immediate actions against the incoming coup coming from the Uchiha Clan…"

"Hmm, interesting that your teammate still has ins into the doings of my clan, and most likely other clans as well. What's worrying, is that his spies could easily let him infiltrate and attack the village. Who knows how many secret paths are there under our walls"

"Did you not tell me something Kana-chan?"

"Yeah, sorry I did not want anyone to eavesdrop on this. Did you know how our new esteemed Daimyo survived the assault?"

"I thought he was just lucky" Hokage replied truthfully.

"He was warned by Danzo, the question I'm thinking off is how someone like him was able to acquire the help of someone as powerful as the Minato-san's impostor. And how long until the sight of the aforementioned ninja will turn towards Konoha. I talked with Tōu-chan privately, she gave me a sketch of the assailant's eyes, I made some research on the dōjutsu in the Fire Temple archives, it's the exact copy of the legendary Rinnegan."

"Damnit, it seems you did your homework Kana-chan… are you suggesting that we are dealing with the leader of Akatsuki that Jiraya-kun talked about?"

"Does it matter Jiji? Have you heard the tale about Rikkudō Sennin? He was likely the first owner of this dōjutsu"

"Wait a moment, I thought of it only as a story, a tale about the prefounder of ninjutsu?"

"I have some proofs, that I would love to show you, but unfortunately, I can't Jiji" Kaname replied with some anger in her voice, 'At last, I found a reference of an Ōtsutsuki, now just to find info about Indra, maybe he was his brother or son? Kiss my a.s.s Reaper, I will get you someday'

"*Sigh* Okay, as much as it sounds like madness, I believe you Kana-chan. Now what should we do to protect the village?" he asked.

"Hehe, thanks Jiji. And truly, I don't have even the tiniest idea what do about someone so powerful, but I can help you find most of the hidden paths inside the village. But I need some help"

"Sure, that should assist us, what is your plan Kana-chan?"

"Well… We have got a clan with 'All-seeing-eyes', you could use them to help with finding all hidden corridors hidden under the Konoha walls easily"

"Ah, I tried it already, while Hiashi-kun was up for it, the rest of his clan wasn't to be used as 'hunting dogs', as they called it"

"And that's where I and the help I need comes in. I think it would be nice if you called for Jiraya-san to come back for a day or two"

"WAIT! Did you finish the seal?!"

"Maaaybe~" Kaname replied in a melodious voice.

"Okay, I will call for him. With the two of you, no one would question the authenticity of your work, did you test it enough?"

"It's enough if I said that Naru-chan hates fish-based ramen, right?"

"Hahaha, Naruto-kun overate himself on ramen? I'm not sure which is a bigger miracle, that we found out the owner of legendary Rinnegan or this" Hokage bellowed with a laugh.

"Heh, no Jiji, not all ramen, just fish-based. I had to test it on living subjects, as there are rivers nearby, it was the most economical… and appetizing solution"

"Still his favorite Miso Ramen consisted of fish broth, didn't it?"

"Yep, with some skill, it could be made with chicken. You should see his dilemma when I ordered him to eat veggies, I threatened him I won't make anymore ramen, hehe"

"Wait! You made him eat vegetables? Kushina-chan wasted two jōnins when I tried to make her eat them..."

"What can I say? It's the power of home cooking Jiji" she smirked.

-----------At the same time (far north)-----------

"Snake-sannin" he greeted his collaborator.

"Shinobi no Yami" Orochimaru acknowledged him by the nod of his head. The two were sitting in front of each other in a damp, dark underground room somewhere in Otogakure.

"I received some news that would help our cause. There is a new Mangekyō Sharingan user in Konoha"

"Fufufu, I'm sssure there is a catch?"

"I know you want to acquire the Sharingan, I'm willing to trade one of the eyes for a price"

"Hmm, I'm lisstening" Orochimaru squinted his pale yellow eyes on Danzo.

"I'm preparing to reclaim what should be rightfully given to me many years back, the support of your troops is a small price to pay for the evolved Sharingan, don't you think so Snake Sannin?"

"Fufufu…"

The two did not know that someone was calmly spying on them from below the ground. A man with white skin and green hair, his body and face lacked any features on its right side. With a Two venus flytrap-like extensions coming from his sides, he looked more like a plant than a real human.

"Huhuhu, so much chaos. Black will be so proud~" Zetsu said to himself, turning back and drifting away to report his findings to the second half of his body.
