What In This World! Oh... Wait A Minute. It's Another World.

When we entered the classroom, we heard a shout.

"Harrold?! Is that you?!" (Unknown Male)

Spoken slightly loudly and somewhat slowly, "Yes?" (Harrold)

A man walks up, "It's been a while, Harrold... How's Honey?" (Man)

Carmen, Ariko, Shi, and I all look at him in concern.

Solemnly said, "She is dead, killed by a dark magic user." (Harrold)

With a bit of shock in his eyes, "I'm so sorry man, I didn't know, how are you holding up?" (Man)

"Thanks to the Prince and Princess here, I have been able to keep active... that's about the only thing I can do to cope with what's happened." (Harrold)

"Well, I'm thankful about tha... WAIT! Did you just say the PRINCE!?!" (Man)

"Yes Mason, this is Prince Dawson Sen, His fiancé Carmen Shawl, and her Personal Guard Ariko." (Harrold)

Each of us nods when he mentions us. Manson stands there for a few minutes in a daze.

Angrily said, "Manson! Where are your manners?!" (Woman)

The one who was speaking walks up behind Manson and smacks him on the back of the head. At that point, he seems to snap back into reality.

"I apologize for my husbands incompetence Your Highness, I am Darling Sue and this is my husband Manson Sue." (Darling)

"Nice to meet you Misses and Mister Sue." (Dawson)

"The p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e is mine," she then bows. (Darling)

When she bows, I notice something I hadn't before... She has what looks like cat ears on her head and a cat-like tail is waving behind her.

"Beastwoman," I accidentally mutter under my breath. (Dawson)

Her ears seem to perk up upon me saying that.

She raises her head with a genuine smile, "I'm guessing, per your reaction, that you have never met one of my kind before?" (Darling)

"To be honest, I've only ever heard of your kind in fiction novels." (Dawson)

"I see.... Well, though as long as you don't mean it rudely, we will accept the terms of 'Beastman' and 'Beastwoman', we, however, prefer to be called 'Anthros'." (Darling)

"Anthros? Okay, well nice to make your acquaintance, I'm glad I could meet one of your kin on good terms." (Dawson)

"I'm happy about that too, so are you four starting here?" (Darling)

"Yes, Harrold, Carmen, and I are starting here today, and Ariko is here as Carmen's personal guard." (Dawson)

"Oh, Miss Shi, will they be our classmates?" (Darling)

"Yes Darling, they will be," Shi looks at us, "This will be your homeroom, tomorrow I will give your instructor, Mister Mister, your schedules, for now you will spend the rest of the day in homeroom," she then looks at Darling and speaks as if speaking to the whole class, "Please be kind to them, and treat them just as you would any other of your classmates, my school is not a place for formalities among students," looking back at us, "You are okay with that right Dawson?" (Shi)

With a big smile, "Thank you, Miss Shi, that is what I'd prefer anyway." (Dawson)

Shi then nods her head and walks out. Upon her getting far enough that everyone thinks she is out of earshot, we get bombarded with too many questions.

"Are you really the prince?"

"Are you really his fiancé?"

"How old are you?"

"What are your elements?"

"Who is your guard?"

"Aren't you a little young to be a guard?"

"Why are you with them?"

"Do you know any spells?"

"Is it true that you can cast 'Cure All'?"

"Why did you enroll here?"

"How were you able to start today?"

After all those questions we were startled by what sounded like a cannon had been fired. The sound came from the front of the classroom. We all looked towards the front, looking at a man who seemed like he was about 35 years old.

"Quiet down everyone, I know they are new to the class, but it is still impossible to answer you when you ask another question before the previous one was even finished being said." (Mister)

"You are Mister Mister?" (Carmen)

"Yes, Miss Carmen, I am." (Mister)

"What about our questions?" (Misc. Classmate)

"One moment, while I ask one of my own... would you four be willing to stand in front of the classroom answering one question at a time?" (Mister)

We looked at each other, all of us nodding our heads so the others could see, then I said it aloud.

"Yes, we would." (Dawson)

We started heading towards the front of the classroom when Mister spoke.

"Thank you, now students, I know it's not every day you learn with royalty... but please, don't ask your question until you are called on, and raise your hand if you have a question, lowering it when you are asking it or if it ends up answered." (Mister)

Immediately upon reaching the front of the classroom all but one hand shot up. That hand belonged to Darling.

"So are we going to be the ones to call on them or are you?" (Dawson)

"Please, be my guest." (Mister)

"Alright, I will be pointing to most of you, since I don't know your names... so when you're called it'd be nice if you'd introduce yourselves, so we know the name of the one whose question we are answering." (Dawson)

"Since you have already been introduced to me, I will first call on you Manson." (Dawson)

"Thank you, Dawson, My question is for Harrold, How did you become involved with royalty?" (Manson)

"It was because he had saved my late wife, Honey. Honey had been taken into an ally to be r.a.p.ed, where she had fought to no avail to stop the perpetrator, then the prince saw this happening and took matters into his own hand. When this was brought to my attention I made sure to make it clear to him that I would repay him, without even knowing that he was the prince, to me he was just a random stranger. He told me that there was no need, but with my persistence, he said that if I really meant what I said then I should train as his personal guard. And that is why I am here now." (Harrold)

"You choose the next person Harrold, and whoever is asked a question is the one to choose the next one to ask." (Dawson)

Harrold then pointed to another student.

This classroom contains 6 rows of chairs and 6 columns per row, with there being an extra row of tables at the back with no chairs, there was only one student sitting in that row, and he was in what seemed to be a manual wheelchair. There was a ramp leading to the back row along the left side of the classroom, and each row was sitting about six inches above where the row in front of it was sitting, with the front row being six inches above the level of where the instructor's desk was.

Darling was in the front row, rightmost seat, with Manson one seat left of her (to her right). The one Harrold pointed at was sitting one seat left of Manson.

"Thank you, Harrold, My name is Sandra Beltinham, and I am pleased to make your acquaintance..." (Sandra)

"Likewise Sandra, and your question?" (Carmen)

"Yes," she gives a small laugh then continues, "You are actually the one my question is for... I've heard a rumor and was wondering if it was true... can you actually cast 'Cure All'?" (Sandra)

"Yes, but I only did as instructed by our royal sorcerer, I'm not sure if I could remember how to do it on my own." (Carmen)

"That's amazing! Thank You for answering my question." (Sandra)

"No problem, now I will have the one sitting on Sandra's right ask the next question" (Carmen)

"Thank you, my name is Adolph Greenan, my question is for Ariko, how old are you?" (Adolph)

Multiple of the class laugh and Sandra smacks Adolph on the back of the head.

"Did you honestly just ask a woman her age Ade?" (Sandra)

"I just thought she looked a little too young to be a personal guard Sandy" (Adolph)

"I have no issue with such a question, seeing as I started training magic at the age of 13... I am currently 26 years old." (Ariko)

Many students said "What!" in unison.

Ariko then laughed. Then Mister explained it to them.

"Class, did she not just say that she started training magic at the age of 13? What happens if someone becomes a higher level at such a young age?" (Mister)

The same students to say what before now said in unison "Oh...!"

"I think it would be easier to follow the current pattern of going from our right to left following the rows." (Ariko)

"Then shall I go next" (girl on Adolph's right side)

"Please" (Ariko)

"My name is Janett Tomes and I wanted to ask, Dawson? Are you really king Dawson's son?" (Janett)

"Well, my answer is to recount what the king said to me, or wait, there is magic, is there any within this room who knows a spell that can create a visual of my memories?"

"I do Dawson" (Mister)

"Would you be willing to use it to show the class the memory that would show them that it's not I, but the king, who claimed me as his son?" (Dawson)

"Of course, that would not be a problem, it's actually a light magic spell... Carmen, would you like to learn it, I would honestly prefer someone closer to dive into his mind like that." (Mister)

"Okay... I am willing." (Carmen)

"Alright... place your foreheads together." (Mister)

We do as asked, then continue following his instructions as he continues.

"Next, Carmen, envision light enveloping his mind," pauses for about 30 seconds, "Once it feels to you like you have encompassed his mind in light, then close your eyes and envision entering his mind." (Mister)

Carmen later explained to me that it seemed like she physically entered my mind which was two o.b.s.c.e.n.ely long and tall shelves full of books, one on either side of her.

"Any question I ask you, just simply say the answer without losing focus... now, are you in his mindscape Carmen?" (Mister)

"I believe so." (Carmen)

"Dawson, please think of the event that you want to be shown to the class." (Mister)

"I suddenly moved elsewhere, is this normal?" (Carmen)

"Perfect, now Carmen, look for the material that Dawson wants to show the class and place it on the table behind you if you don't know what you are looking for just ask him." (Mister)

"I know exactly which one it is, it is titled 'Father?'." (Carmen)

"Once you have placed it on the table behind you then envelope the material in light. Next step will be to say 'show me the truth in the eyes of others' and then you will open your eyes in the real world... look at the surface you wish it to be displayed on... the best one is the board behind you." (Mister)

"Show me the truth in the light of others." (Carmen)

After that Carmen and I opened our eyes, and Carmen looked at the blackboard behind her. As a class we then watched the events of chapter 2 on the blackboard from my point of view... once that was over I continued talking.

"So as you see, either I am the king's son, or the king is a liar... which would you prefer to believe?" (Dawson)

After that, we continued to learn their names and answer their questions. This paragraph being the front of the classroom, the students were seated as follows.
