Buzz...

I've been flying through the inner depths of the wild forest for a few minutes right now, going back and forth between the river path and the inner depths as I tried to find another animal to suck blood from.

But the truth is...I wasn't really searching for another animal, but rather, I was trying to think up of a suitable animal that would increase my constitution by a good amount while also having a good amount of blood points as well. This flying that I've been doing is just a subconscious action of my body, to be honest.

Well, what kinds of animals are in a forest? Hmm...deer are commonly found in forests, but I've already s.u.c.k.e.d a deer dry already. I could go and find a rare deer to increase my constitution, but that would probably be like finding a needle in a haystack, very rare.

I could also go and hunt for birds, but they fly everywhere , making it hard for me to catch up with my current constitution. If I had a higher constitution or a higher evolution tier, I might just do so since there are a ton of bird types, but for now, I'll have to pass.

Hmm...

Fish! Since there's a river in the forest, then there would be fish! Wait...bad idea. Fish are found in the water, and the only chance I could suck their blood is by timing my succ just right as they jump out of the river. Nope, even with my Sonic Reflexes, I won't do it. I might just drown.

I know that there's a lot more animals in the forest, but I didn't really pay attention to class in my previous life. I squeezed out all of the juice in my brain cells...well, lack thereof and eventually had two animals left in mind.

Now, what are those two animals I have in mind? Well, those two animals are none other than the bear and the wolf. After thinking about the bear, I could not help but get shivers after remembering the bear from a while ago. Although there was only a difference of one evolution tier, that was enough for me to have no choice but to escape as I knew that I was gonna die.

Then again...that bear was an extremely strong variant of the normal bear, plus it had its own territory to guard, so that meant that I wouldn't really pass through another rare bear if I avoided that bear's territory. I'd still have to mark it down though but...

Wouldn't that mean I could suck bears and not face any retaliation? Well, with enough common sense, that would be a yes. That rare bear doesn't care about other bears that much since it cared even more for its prey.

And with that... I've made my decision!

Whoosh! Buzz...

I focused my sense of vision towards the wild forest and made sure to find a lone bear since I knew that I couldn't suck blood from a single bear with other bears beside it. If I did, then there would be two possibilities. The first possibility would be that these bears would run away in fear due to their bear friend becoming a corpse all of a sudden or...

They would see me on top of their bear friend's corpse, get angry, and beat the shit out of me.

Although I do have a skill that allows me to erase my presence, for some reason, my body hinders me from using it every often, so I have no choice but to be careful when doing such a ballsy thing like s.u.c.k.i.n.g blood from a being with a group of the same being surrounding that being.

Buzz...

Aha! Finally found one! After 5 minutes of traversing through the inner depths of the forest, I finally found a bear! At the moment, it's currently resting on the warm forest ground, allowing the sun's rays to illuminate its chocolate brown fur. From a human's perspective, it looks like something you'd see in a painting. From my perspective, it's just a blood bank waiting to be s.u.c.k.e.d.

Whoosh! Buzz...

I hastily made my way down from where I flew, looking at the bear's actions after I landed on its back. After making sure that the bear was fast asleep, dozing off, I could not help but figuratively smile as I gradually turned my head to poke my proboscis into the bear's abdomen.

Time to suck bloo—wait a second.

If I could remember correctly, I fought a crow before s.u.c.k.i.n.g a few deer, obtaining a quick constitution skill upgrade and a lot of blood points from its corpse, as well as more constitution skill levels. Not only that, it even gave me a Bloodl.u.s.t Point, allowing me to enhance my combat effectiveness.

From the benefits alone, killing the being before s.u.c.k.i.n.g them dry is more beneficial than just s.u.c.k.i.n.g them dry. But the benefit of s.u.c.k.i.n.g them dry is the fact that they wouldn't know their blood was s.u.c.k.e.d until they were already weak. As for killing them, if I don't severely injure them or incapacitate them, then I'd probably be dead.

Then again...the benefits of the former is still bigger so I guess I'll do it on this bear as a test.

Question is...would I be able to kill such a big bear with my measly size? There's no other way to find out than to just do it and try.

Buzz...

I flew from the bear's abdomen and hovered along the general area of where the bear's eyes were. At the moment, both of those eyes were closed, but after what I'll be doing, they'll be permanently closed, giving me a greater chance to kill this bear for sure.

'Sharp Needle+!' I commanded from my mind, enveloping my proboscis in slightly more viscous dark energy compared to before, turning my proboscis into a dark spear like before.

Of course, without hesitation, I rammed this spear into the bear's right eyelid, causing it to wake up from the sharp pain I inflicted as it stood up while wailing in pain.

Then again, I don't just stop at eye and let this bear retaliate. I hastily pulled out my proboscis from the bear's right eyelid as eye fluid dribbled out from the hole not long after, quickly making my way towards the eye as I activated Sharp Needle+ once more and...!

With the faint sound of a water balloon bursting, the bear's left eye was pierced through by my proboscis as well, making the bear panic as it had no sense of vision. Of course, since it's panicking, that meant that it was the right time to make a lethal move.

Buzz...

I retracted my proboscis from the bear's eyes once more and started to head downwards the bear's head. Now you might be wondering, why was I heading down and not up? Wouldn't aiming for the brain be better than going downwards and possibly hitting the bear's family bloodline organs?

Well yes, that would definitely be better, but take into consideration the fact that a bear's skull is thicker than a crow's. At my current size, I wouldn't even probably be able to pierce halfway through its skull, even less so pierce a part of its brain.

That's why I'm heading downwards the bear's head. I wasn't aiming for the bear's organs of the future, but for the bear's throat. Since it's a living being, it needs oxygen to breathe, and by piercing multiple holes in throat, wouldn't that kill the bear?

Well yes. Yes, it does.

As it continued to wail and flail from the pain that is having both of its eyes pierced, I easily made my way down the bear's neck and started to activate my Sharp Needle+ again. At the moment, it seems that it's still distracted by the pain, not focusing on guarding its body so now's the time.

Poke!

Success! I've made a hole through the bear's throat! Of course, this hole is insanely small so...

Poke! Poke! Poke! Poke!

I continued retracting and attacking with Sharp Needle+ activated, making sure to spread out my holes along the bear's throat. It was around ten pokes in did the bear freeze up and not flail around anymore.

Can it be...? Is it possible that I've...?

Thud.

Falling towards the right side of its abdomen, the bear was now on the ground unmoving, with its mouth wide open, possibly wanting to gasp for air. Sadly, I removed that option for you.

Ding!

Oh yeah, I killed this thing. I wonder what I'll obtain from this kill.

'You have successfully killed a Bear!'

'You have obtained a Bloodl.u.s.t Point.'

'You have obtained 63 points of Impure Blood Energy from killing this creature.'

'With the bear's aura surrounding your body, you have unlocked [Bear's Rage].'

'[Bear's Rage] (0/10) -> (4/10)'

'Constitution +0.04'

Although I didn't really obtain skills from killing this bear since it was a normal type by the looks of it, I was still able to obtain a Bloodl.u.s.t Point, allowing me to enhance my combat effectiveness. Not only that, I also obtained more points of blood from this bear than that rare crow. If that's the case...then does that mean...

I hurriedly flew down towards the bear's unmoving abdomen and pierced my proboscis through its skin, s.u.c.k.i.n.g with full power.

Slurp.

Not long after starting to suck, I maxed out both of my storages, prompting me to decide and upgrade my Second Blood Storage as it increased my capacity by 100 points per level.

As I upgraded my Second Blood Storage, I continued to suck on this dead bear, wondering how much blood it had until...

Ding!

'You have reached the maximum storage capacity for both of your stomachs.'

Holy f.u.c.k. This bear has a lot of blood in its system. Without hesitation, I upgraded my Second Blood Storage once more and continued to suck, only filling up my storage by a hundred points before a notification popped up.

Ding!

'The corpse is now deprived of its unflowing blood.'

You know what? Although I was scared of that bear I came across a while ago, I'm now having second thoughts.

Why?

I'm now wondering how much blood it has in its system. To think that a bear has a lot more blood than I thought it would.

Hehehe, just you wait. I'll suck you dry.
