Wild Young Miss: Mister, Let's Kiss!

Two hours later, Zoey and Matthew Xi didn't dilly dally in the hotel and met up with Enzo Li in Kwan General Hospital parking space. If one didn't know better, they would see this meeting as a suspicious drug deal. 

"Hey!" Zoey called, waving her hand as she approached Enzo Li who was leaning on his red sports car hood. 

Enzo Li glanced up to her, then shifted his gaze to the person behind her. 'They spent the night together...?' With his twitching lips, Enzo Li wondered. 

Thinking back, he once 'saw' them being intimate in the car back when he came back from abroad. Hence, he wouldn't be surprised if these two were doing adult activities. 

Still, it was shocking that his second cousin, Matthew Xi who wouldn't even bat an eye even if a woman stood naked in front of him would be enthralled by her. What kind of love potion did Zoey make him drink?

"Yo!" Stopping several steps away from Enzo Li, Zoey raised her hand as a greeting gesture. "Did you talk to my brother?" She asked immediately. 

"I tried, but he's pretty much not in the mood." Enzo Li scratched his jaw with his forefinger as he recalled last night's event. 

"I see... suspicious, don't you think?" Narrowing her eyes, Zoey nodded her head in understanding. 

Normally, Zion Kwan was a kind and gentle person. He was the type of person who would be concerned in others' troubles instead of prioritizing himself. 

"Everyone has their bad days, Z. You just don't understand because bad days are normal to you." Rolling his eyes, Enzo Li sassed. 

At this point, Matthew Xi finally caught up with Zoey and stood wordlessly behind her. Upon sensing his presence, Enzo Li's senses intensified as he gulped a mouthful of saliva. 

"Tsk!" Clicking her tongue, Zoey glared at him in disdain. "My big bro is not someone who treats others coldly no matter how bad his day was! Quick! Nag him! Torture him if you have no choice!" Zoey placed both her hands on his shoulders, instructing him as a glint of determination flickered across her eyes. 

Seeing her unfaltering determination, Enzo Li's dashing front distorted. Did she just say torture him? Who does she think Zion Kwan was? A convict?

"Why would I do that?" Enzo Li asked, totally finding this absurd. 

Well, not that he didn't originally want to talk to Zion Kwan in the first place. However, his queries were entirely different from Zoey's interests. 

"If you don't, my darling would have to go! I don't want to be separated from him!" In a matter-of-fact tone, Zoey stated, which made Enzo Li cringe. 

'Well, you'd actually see results if you send that man to talk to your brother!' Enzo Li argued internally. However, he couldn't just speak his mind under Matthew Xi's intimidating gaze. 

"What are you going to do then?" 

"We'd go see Cora, duh?" Shrugging her shoulders, Zoey turned to Matthew Xi and smiled. "Right, Browny?" 

"B — bro — Browny?!?" Enzo Li almost choked. Did he hear her right? She just called Matthew Xi, BROWNY?! Like the pet name Browny for pets?!?

"Hmm! Browny — that's my endearment." Nodding her head innocently, Zoey blinked her eyes with a smile. "And he calls me the purple dinosaur — Barney." She added, giggling at her own humor which didn't humor the two. Not at all — it was not funny.

'What are these absurd endearments?! What the... my big bro will never agree to such ridiculous endearments!' In disbelief, Enzo Li peered at Zoey in disgust. How could she taint the legendary Matthew Xi that Enzo Li idolized since childhood? How preposterous!

Just then, Matthew Xi placed his large hand over Zoey's head. Moving it to face him, he spoke. "Barney, go see your friend. I think it's best for Mr. Li and me to go see Doctor Kwan." Not caring what was inside Enzo Li's mind, Matthew Xi proposed. 

Although they originally planned to go see Cora Ma together and let Enzo Li handle Zion Kwan, Matthew Xi thought that it was best to see Zion Kwan now. There were things he wanted to ask him about Zoey. Hence, he would use this chance to know a bit more that didn't show up in the background check. 

"But..."

"I believe your friend wouldn't want another person's presence at the moment." Matthew Xi added, giving logical reasoning which shut Zoey up. 

"Then that settles it! It's also a good idea for Zion to talk to Mr. Xi privately! This, I believe, will make your brother give his blessings to Mr. Xi," Backing up Matthew Xi after he received a glare from the man himself, Enzo Li awkwardly exclaimed. 

God... it was not a good idea! Not at all! However, Enzo Li was forced to join in and back him up. What could he do? 

'I really hate her now!' Enzo Li grumbled internally, tempted to spout his hatred towards Zoey for dragging him in such a situation. 

On a second thought, Zoey wasn't completely at fault. If Enzo Li didn't want to flaunt his superiority to Zoey's new lover, he wouldn't find out he was actually Matthew Xi. 

If only he didn't, Enzo Li was certain his second cousin would send him to an island for vacation! That was better than being Zoey's lackey! 

"Well... okay." Staring at Matthew Xi, Zoey sighed as he had a point. Her understanding made both Matthew Xi and Enzo Li let out a sigh. 

"Thank God she understood.' Unbeknownst to each other, the two men heaved a sigh and said the same thing internally. 

"I'll leave my brother to you then! If everything went smoothly, I'll give you a place and you just drag him there, okay?" Zoey grinned, altering her gaze from Enzo Li to Matthew Xi. 

"Yes, yes, just go now — jeez!" Nodding his head, Enzo Li waved his hand and swatted her away. 

"Don't do something funny to my Browny! I'm not done with you yet for badmouthing me behind my back!" Glaring at Enzo Li, Zoey warned, which made him cough. 

Glancing at Matthew Xi, Enzo Li wept internally. 'Big bro, did you rat me out last night?' 

"Anyway, godspeed to the both of you! Browny, let me give you a parting kis—" before Zoey left , she puckered her lips to Matthew Xi but was halted as he placed his finger on her forehead. 

"Take care." Matthew Xi flatly said before touching her head back. With that said note, both men headed inside the hospital while Zoey was left frowning as she watched them leave. 

"I shouldn't have proposed this day as our second date...." she murmured and sighed before heading back to her car and drove away.
