The young deity Gaukler is screwed over a second time by the goddess Fortuna. Two times descending into the lower realms to claim his godhood, had him end up empty-handed both times.
The first time he ended in Helheim where he was forced into eternal servitude until he was able to shatter his 'Immortal Lamp' which prevented him from dying and kill himself.
The second time was much more peaceful because he incarnated into Alfheim but literally drove him so insane with its peacefulness that he stole the 'Book of Creation'.
Having failed two times already Gaukler extorts the goddess of destiny, Fortuna to give him third an edge for the third time around...
